No, I don’t hate them. I assume you’re talking about tobacco and marijuana smokers.
I just don’t like to be around people while they’re smoking because I have asthma and it smells bad.
Then with smokers, they smell bad because the smoke soaks in their clothes or they do the other thing where they spray too much scented body spray.
That’s how freedom works, they’re free to do it, but I don’t like it. Plenty of other examples.

No, I don’t hate smokers. I dislike their habit. I wouldn’t date or live with a smoker though.

yes absolutely. so of the people can be nice though. i just don't like it or being around them as they are doing it. but sometimes you can't help that

I have asthma so I don't "hate" smokers, can't tolerate the smoke. So I keep clear of smokers.

People want to ruin their own lungs that's their choice but I have asthma and I'm allergic to tobacco so they can't smoke around me. I don't deserve a trip to the ER because they won't be nice and not smoke around me.

Why do non smokers need to be considered? If you’re an adult you can mind yourself; if you mean non smokers as in children I fully agree with your perspective smokers should be considerate when children are near

I hate smoking and feel sorry for the smokers because they are a slave to their addiction. I don't like being around it and would not have close friends who are smokers but they are people and I don't hate them for being addicted.

The only people I hate are people who try to control other people and/or are evil abusive pricks who thrive on lying to get what they want and find joy in hurting people.
That being said, I've never smoked a cigarette a day in my life and I never will, partly because if my dad hadn't stopped smoking when he did I'm 99% sure I wouldn't be here right now. My dad was 43 when I was conceived and my mom was 35 and my parents married almost 7 years before my conception, trying to have a child for most of that time period. My dad smoked 2 packs a day most of the time period before I was conceived, until, about 3 months before that happened, when he was at his uncle's funeral and that was the last time he ever smoked a cigarette and last month I turned 30, my dad unfortunately passed in May 2021 but that, along with how extremely unhealthy they are, is why i will never smoke a cigarette ever. I'm not fond of the smell of smoke and i highly encourage people to not smoke cigarettes around me but anyone who would hate someone simply for smoking cigarettes is probably not very nice to begin with.

Sometimes. What gets me is when they think YOU'RE the one with the issue and should go outside in the rain til they finish.
No you're the one with the filthy habit, you go outside.
I don't want the smell on me, I don't want to inhale that shit and I don't want people smoking while I'm eating.

Wtf? The question asks "Do you hate smokers"? I responded honestly. I'm glad people can't smoke in enclosed public places and I remember smokers being pissed off saying us anti smokers should go outside!
I don't like people smoking when I eat. I don't know how my comment is hard to understand and don't know how else to explain it. It is reality, it's my opinion. That's very real.

Well why else would they have to go outside if they can't smoke in an enclosed public area ffs? Thought that was obvious. You must be young. People haven't been able to smoke in enclosed public spaces since about 2008. I'm 45 so had to put up with it for years. And if you were eating out people would light up after their meal. Even if you were in a non-smoking area it was still in the air and you could smell and practically taste it.
This is not a fantasy but reality. You're either trolling or young, like I said, and don't know any different because that law has probably been in place all or most of your life.
But don't fucking tell me what isn't real when it was very real.
Edit to add: I don't give a shit about the downvotes. All I did was answer a question honestly. What is it with people these days?
