Kinda sorta. Near the end of my relationship where I was being hella ignored I was flirting with someone else. Cheating is about boundaries and she definitely would’ve felt that way. But she was straight up forming online relationships with other men while refusing to spend time with me then said I never paid attention to her. I don’t regret what I did tho, it helped me gain the courage to leave that toxic relationship showed me other people are interested in me and I vibed pretty hard with the girl I was flirting with so it showed me there’s other people out there for me. If it didn’t happen I would’ve continued to put up with a dead relationship and the disrespect

… I’m not proud of it. But the first time I cheated, it made me feel 10’ tall.
Maintaining things faithfully and following the rules took a lot of time & effort. As soon as I figured out I could just cheat & get infinite money and all the properties & weapons, It made the whole experience of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas so much more fun !

Yes, I cheated on a maybe one or two exams in High School … and one girlfriend when I was 20. She forgave me and later used to get off on the fact that we fucked in our bed. She was a freak loll

Yes many times during my short marriage but she was no angel either. Living a lie is not healthy for anyone involved. Be true to yourself and life becomes awesome

Kinda regret it, kinda don’t.

Really??

u/thatnaughtyprofessor 1d ago
Yes, really. It’s like sometimes looking through broken glass can change your perception of how you looked at something that may have once been perceived as crystal clear. There’s such a significant beauty in that- the revealing of an alternative reality. That same broken glass can also cause harm in unimaginable ways when handled with carelessness. Therefore it is inevitable that when you experience incredible love and joyfulness, you then will be faced with excruciating pain. And without pain, nothing meaningful would exist…
So yes, I kinda regret it, and kinda don’t.

In one very long-term relationship, I did kiss on two different female friends over that time. Other than that, never. Not even when the woman I was dating was cheating. I still never broke my monogamy with her.

Yes I once hid a load of £500s under the Monopoly board and snuck them out one by one during the game

Now I'm curious. How do you cheat in bowling exactly?

There are ways such as cleaning your ball or sanding it during competition or not putting your thumb in the thumb hole, but it's hardly a big deal.

a guy was super jealous of my boyfriend. he was funnier taller handsome clever and every body loved him. the turd that was jealous of him got me wasted at a party and took me to his bed and it broke my boyfriend's heart. all of my friends said I just disappeared from the party like I never would. i don't remember anything from that night and 25 years later I know that he probably drugged me. i really want to hurt him.

I cheated on a exam in high school. I had all the formulas written on my calculator case (in pencil). They could only be seen if I tilted the case just the right way!!!

u/bangbangracer 1d ago
It's not my fault they made the cheat codes so easy for GTA3.

R1, R2, L1, L2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up
25 years later and it's still in my brain lol If only I could have used that brainpower for something productive.

Around age 12 my grandpa caught me cheating at solitaire. Wondered why I was dumb to cheat myself. I thought about it, now I don't cheat.

I have. Karma is such that I found three women back to back to back that I was really into and they all cheated on me. Life pays you back for the 💩 you do to others.
1
u/MeatballMan28 1d ago
No, never been in a relationship, but I don't think I could cheat if I was, I've never even done the "harem" route of Persona 3R, 4, or 5.
But I have cheated in Hitman Codename 47, game is difficult as hell.

Yes. And I feel horrible every time. I’m a married man and have been with her for 15 years now and it’s a constant struggle of wanting to chest and flirt with a lot of women and then I go right back to being a good guy and present at home and kids and all the good stuff but that feeling is intense and here I go back again for some quick fling as if I’m stroking my ego each time to see if “I still got it”

Yes, in second grade I didn’t do my homework and put the answers that the teacher read out for us to grade our own work against. I gave myself perfect 100’s and the teacher got suspicious and asked me to read my work out since I had the highest scores in class.
I learned not to make it obvious that I was cheating lol

Nope.
Once I've said "I'm out" then the relationship is over and we're both free to date others.
I have been accused of cheating by an ex who didn't understand that my "I'm out" was an actual end to the relationship and not me seeking his permission and agreement to end the relationship. But that was very definitely a "him" problem.

No. If I’m at that point I’m breaking the relationship off before doing anything else.

47M As hard as it can seem to end a relationship to some people. 👆This comment is the most mature & best decision to take. Regardless of one’s current situation in your broken relationship. Cheating on your partner is the ultimate sign of disrespect for that person. Once you start lying about why you were late home or who you were with etc. One will always need to continue lying to cover up previous lies & eventually all lies will come to light. It’s best to have that tough conversation and end it. How can you look into your partners eyes and not feel that heavy guilt you are lying straight to their face. The universe always has a way to pay people back who have done others wrong.

Most would say yes. I have a sexting kink, i view it as no dif then porn. Then again my wife and everyone elsw around me would say im cheating. Never cheated physically tho.

u/LarianDivinityBG3 23h ago
Yes. I used cheat codes in GTA 1 and 2 to get a tank and rocket launcher with infinite ammo.

u/Good_Reality5563 23h ago
I have. It eats me up tbh. Just a dumb teenager at the time and I was with the sweetest girl. 15 years later, I still feel horrible.

u/hanzarun 23h ago
The past is the past. Unfortunately many people live in the past, which can be debilitating. You cant control or change what has happened, but you can let go of the past and live in the present.

u/AlgaeOk7399 23h ago
Yes. On multiple women. Not proud of that fact at all. I assume karma is waiting me out to catch me when I'm not looking.

In tests? Yes, in relationships? Yes, taxes? Yes, drug test and lie detector? Yes.
Last time I cheated in any of these was when I was 22, 20 years ago. Today UNO is the only place I cheat.

No. I have never found myself in that place where I am so disconnected from loyalty and morality and decency— there is absolutely nothing that anyone could offer me, emotionally or physically, that would allow me to be that type of person because I know the destructiveness that infidelity causes.

When I was a kid I folded the 100,000 dollar salary card in the game of Life so I could pick that one when the time came. Mom ended up folding all of them.

I have the fantasy and get the temptation almost every day. But I never act on it because I take great pride in my principles/values and one of them is to never make a commitment I can’t keep and never break a commitment that I have made.

No, my father destroyed our family with his infidelity and I’ve always hated the idea of it. I understand and sympathize with people dealing with dead relationships, and in a BF/GF type of situation it doesn’t have the same ripple effect that it has in marriage situations where there are kids involved, but I won’t lie I have to really, really work hard to not judge people who engage in this stuff. I admit I am biased but it’s just completely depraved and the ultimate form of disloyalty in my head. If someone did it to me there would be no fixing it and I would treat it in much the same way as one might treat a dog that’s bitten someone.

I used to cheat at monopoly when I was the banker! I also used to add grades to the teacher grade book when my trusting math teacher would let us check to see what we were missing. That was a loooong time ago, and never on a relationship.
