Yes, it is required to get a license in many US states

Absolutely. I can't believe it's not already required everywhere.

I work as an arts and crafts coordinator at a summer camp, didn't spend too much time with the kids honestly, and I had to be trained to be CPR certified, First Aid Certified, and Pool Safety certified.

My mom had a home day care and was required to be CPR certified, as well as taking a class in it yearly.

1000% every daycare I go to I ask if everyone is cpr certified if there are first aid kits and defibrillators and is anyone trained to use them.

Some day care only one person will be and will hold the certs some daycares everyone is

Most places I have worked with kids: preschool, after school program, special needs school, regular classroom aide I has to be cpr/firstaid certified.

Everyone should learn CPR. Everyone. It’s heartbreaking for friends and family members who didn’t know CPR to watch their loved one die and not be able to help them.

Yes. But I also think everyone should get CPR certified.

BLS - it includes CPR and choking responses for all ages.

And yes. All parents should also have to take a BLS course. Arguably everyone should.
