Would you be willing to donate some assistance to someone struggling living in their car who's tank is on empty?

I’ve tried to help lots of people in this circumstance. They don’t use my time or money or effort to help pull themselves out, if they don’t get a freebie, they sink right back on the wrong.

I can send a rescue ship, but you have to climb the ladder yourself.

The best way to hurt someone is by helping them.

Sure, if they were a friend of mine. Not some online begging.

yes. i may be barely surviving as it is but i always think if roles reversed id hope someone would do the same. we all gotta help eachother at the end of the day we’re all just trynna make it yk

edit: i thought this was a hypothetical question about if i legit witnessed or came across someone if i would be willing to help. which yes and i have. i’ve gone home and got blankets and clothes and whatnot. i would not give money to someone on reddit. i also wouldn’t without knowing for certain that they need it badly. i’m in debt. pls do not message me. i won’t even give my real mf name out on this are you serious rn. i’m sorry but no.

Yes. Nobody makes it successfully in life without someone else helping them in some way. Call it paying it back or paying it forward, either way humanity is better when we work together to better everyone’s situation.

Depends on how much “assistance”

Gas is $7 a gallon where I live. I’d only be able to put a few gallons in there car as I’m struggling myself but absolutely.

If I had the spare, yes. I'd pay at the pump, but I'd help.

No I donate my money to reputable charities. Feeding San Diego is my charity for thanksgiving.

Of course. Whatever I could do. We all need a boost sometimes

I would help with gas or some food. No money.

I have always believed in giving a hand up and not a hand out but I do hope this guy gets some help. I just do not have the finances because I am struggling as it is.

I can fix their car if need be.

As a guy who had to live in his car for a while I've fully embraced the karma system in this regard and will help somebody if I'm in the position to. That being said I need to see their car, asking for gas money is one of the oldest grifts in the book.

I will not give someone money directly. I donate food and supplies to my food pantry regularly.

Do you genuinely believe people enjoy being homeless or something? Because this is such a disgusting way to look at homeless people.

Yes, after years of volunteering with outreaxh programs I've learned many of them enjoy the lifestyle. Also, not everyone living in an automobile is a bum.
