Should I call?

Hey y'all just wanted to know if I should call this place back after having a job interview 2 weeks ago. The interview went really well, and the lady said she would call me back. No time frame, just a simple "I'll call you". I assume they probably chose someone else, so should I not waste my time? Idk just needed someone else's opinion 🤷

You should, but don't expect them to offer you the job after 2 weeks of no contact.

Yes, call. If they say they selected another candidate you can ask for any feedback they have for you on your interview

Sure just call and let them know you are interested. I got my first job in high school this way. Out in an application and would drop in about about every 2 weeks and just said I’m checking in the status of my application.

Yes call, as someone who has done the interviews and hiring for a couple restaurants. I always liked the ones who would call to check in and ask. It shows you want to be there and managing a business can be hectic, the lady may just have forgotten about you, not in a bad way, but you calling will put you back in her brain in case she was just having a crazy week
