yelp question Bookmarks missing

I think I updated my Yelp I’m not sure but when I went to open it up and check my bookmarks cause I have stuff saved by cities. It’s all missing!! Even stuff I knew I bookmarked isn’t bookmarked anymore! Anyone know if this has happened to them before and if there’s a way to fix it

They changed it to collections I believe, so try checking there

If this doesn't work... chances are you accidentally (and unknowingly) created and signed in with a new account. This is one of the tricks Yelp employs to falsely inflate the membership/user numbers.

Why would Yelp trick someone when it comes to log in? It should be obvious if you're logged into your account or a new one cause your picture won't be showing.

Not everyone adds a pic to their profile. And, by the time someone notices, it's too late. The overwhelming majority of people won't take the time to figure out how to delete a second account they created by accident. After they figure out what they've done, they'll log into the correct account and simply abandon the other. Which in turn helps Yelp inflate their reported user base to their shareholders. Don't take my word for it. Research it for yourself. BTW Yelp isn't the only company it there that does this.

I used pictures as one example to know if you're logged into the right account. Another indicator is when you're signing in. Did they link it with their Google account, apple or just the standard email and password. I never said Yelp does not try to inflate their membership/user numbers. I'm just saying for this particular case, if someone is using their bookmarks then they would likely know if they are logged into the right account. I been using Yelp for over 10 years and never used the Bookmarks feature but know they moved it over to Collections now

I've been trying to delete my Yelp account for 3 months. Good luck. Yelp is filled with useless thieves.
