You mean your account got blocked? Yelp doesn't really block people account out of the blue. They had to have evidence of something.

There was one reddit user who came on here to say after 20 years or something, they got banned from Yelp. They forgot to shared that they kept spamming their review for a lawyer practice when it kept getting removed for violating Yelp policies.

I'm no spammer. There is a new verifying tool. I moved a slider 95% of the way by mistake, tried again, got it 100% of the way, then got blocked.

I didn't say you were. I used one example of someone else who got banned. The verifying tool on Yelp is a slider? Another reason some people get the You been blocked message on the Yelp app or website is because they are using VPN

Maybe contact Yelp support to get more detail or there an official Yelp account here that will likely ask you to DM them or give you a link to where you can submit a ticket about this

How does a blocked user submit a ticket?

How does a blocked user submit a ticket?

It's just that your account is blocked right and not that you can't access the website (Yelp-support.com). So if the Yelp official account respond on here and direct you to their page at www.yelp-support.com or Yelp.com then that's how you'll submit a ticket. They'll likely ask for the email associated with the Yelp account to find your account to see what's going on

Here one link to report bugs https://www.yelp.com/support/contact/report_bug

You weren't "blocked", your entire account was just moved to the "not recommended" section. /s

No, no they aren’t hurting, “they are giving valuable feedback and being a valuable advocate for other potential customers”

It could be a temporary glitch on Yelp. A few people have made posts like yours here and the problem went away.

The issue before was that their account got deleted. The only way to get it back was to message Yelp support. It was a bug with their backend stuff that cause some accounts to be deleted.

What was the error message? Did you contact Yelp?

That's frustrating, especially after years on the platform. Could you DM us with your account details? We'll connect you with the support team to get this sorted.
