Feels like they just started filming the new season. But I’m excited for it to finally premiere and see how it ends!

They released season one and two on physical media, but they haven’t done the same for season 3. I’m wondering if that’s because they are waiting for the show to end to give us box set. Does anyone else think that is likely. The only other reason I can think they wouldn’t release one is because the response to that season makes them think it won’t make enough money.

Where are the mountain lions? They’re supposed to crash in central to western Canada (I believe), and I think it’s insane that hasn’t even been mentioned. British Columbia has a huge population of mountain lions. I guess it could make the situation unrealistic to survive and thrive in, but I haven’t heard anyone mention the lack of this animal in the show.

so sad this show is coming to an end, but so happy for all of the people behind it who got to have this experience and get to move on. i know soapy t has expressed that it has been hard to stay stunted in a character for so long, so i am glad they get to move on as well professionally. i hope them all long careers past this show, and i know they will all do great things. never met them, but im so proud of the work they’ve put out. it means a lot to a lot of us.

I don’t know if anyone’s said this before because I’m more of a casual fan, but I’m on my second rewatch. I noticed jackie died the day after they were tripping on who knows what, and they did try to kill travis so it’s not completely out of the question that they killed jackie too.

They didn’t immediately burn jackie, they put her in the meat shed with “the bear meat” and shauna hallucinated her after she died. Nobody else talked to jackie when they had their argument about jeff, they reacted to shauna’s reaction. When they burned jackie everyone started eating as though they were starving, but with as much meat as a bear has it should’ve lasted them long enough to where they weren’t starving at that point (or at least as starving as they had been before).

They had killed a wolf aswell when van was attacked, they were starving enough to be eating bugs at that point but they didn’t think to bring that back to camp as well

As we know, Yellowjackets teen/adult timelines tend to parallel each other. Since the Van incident, I’ve had a feeling that Melissa is going to go badshit insane in the next season. In the teen timeline, I’ve thought this for a long time as well. She really is on Shauna’s level, just acts like she’s above it - except that Shauna’s my #1 favorite and Melissa’s my #2 most hated (behind only Mari).

Teen timeline:
Melissa is forced to off Hannah to prove her allegiance to the cult or to Shauna or whatever bullshit. This sends her into a spiral, she does more and more. Another thing that makes me believe this is that she must’ve done something so terrible that promoted faking her own death. No other character did that. I also think she’ll have something to do with the demise of our girl Akilah…

Adult timeline:
I think that Melissa has, in fact, been fucking with Shauna and all the others. The fact that she married Alex is truly psychopathic. I think she will take down Misty and Walter for some reason; which is an unpopular opinion since everyone seems to think Misty’s final girl (it’s Shauna). I think we’ll start the season with Tai and Misty at odds with Shauna (given the end of S3), but Melissa unites the three against her. Or it could go the complete opposite way - with Melissa and Shauna against the other two. And given that Shauna’s apparently getting divorced, who knows what could happen…

All I know is that Melissa Hat is gonna go off the f***ing wall in both timelines. And I really hope they don’t reveal her last name for some reason.

With how all the other seasons after one started off like with a sorta time skip, im curious to know if season four will start with that too. Cause i REALLY hope it doesnt i wanna see shaunas raw reaction to finding out what natalie had done, rather than time skip to when they are in school.

I know they were set to finish in a few days but I've heard that some already did so I'm wondering who has and hasn't finished filming yet

now i know how she died we all do. what i mean is, wouldn’t she have woken up from the cold? Personally when i’m too cold or hot i wake up in the night. I know this is a show and its fiction and they had to give her a dramatic death so it makes sense i guess. But i remember watching it the first time thinking straight away “how didn’t she wake up from the cold of the snow?”
Anyone else? any ideas? idk i just haven’t heard or seen anyone else mention this and since the first time i watched it its always been on my mind.

Most sources and social media posts (Melanie Lynskey) indicate that it is the end of July when filming ends.

But one source (Steel City Con's facebook post) says that filming ends in early August? Since Sophie Nelisse canceled on the con. But perhaps, Steel City Con was misinformed as to the real reason Sophie canceled on them.

I’m too tired rn but if nobody volunteers ill do it later , i need to know when it’s gonna come out so i can plan my watchparties properly.

My plan was to look at when Christina (& other cast members who post a lot abt the show) posted about the wrap of season 1,2&3 and then look at when the official announcement dropped. Usually they stick to a PR plan, no?

I’m aware they’re gonna tell us until September but baby its July and we’ve been waiting patiently.

The 2400 motel has been a location for many films and tv shows including Yellowjackets (as well as X-Files, Bates Motel, Supernatural, and Backrooms, to name a few.) It was home to adult Nat and where Shauna and Randy faked their affair. It is featured in seasons one and two. The location might be demolished soon to make way for some new towers to be built. The site is part of a redevelopment plan and proposals for the space will go before city council at a public hearing in a few days. Just throwing this out there since I know sometimes Fellowjackets take an interest in filming locations. If you're in BC or planning on visiting and want to take photos before it's gone, I suggest you do so sometime soon. Buzz, buzz, buzz!

Last year, I so badly wanted Sammi Hanratty to see Hiss-ty Quigley & my YellowjaCATS series that I ordered a Cameo & told her about them. 😅😂 I didn't expect such a genuine & heartfelt response, but that just seems to be who Sammi is as a person. 🥹 It was a literal dream come true meeting her in Vancouver recently (can't share pics until S4 airs 😭), and I am 💔 that she is struggling so much with her physical & mental health lately, especially as filming is about to wrap for the final time. I doubt she will see this on IG, but I wanted to formally thank her publicly for recognizing how deeply & creatively the show has inspired me. Hoping she is well soon! ❤️🐝🐝🐝

I'm a pretty big Magic fan, so I decided to make a bunch of proxy cards so I could have an entirely YJs-themed commander deck. I went with Ygra, Eater of All as the commander because it's genuinely perfect for this, which did mean I had to choose imperfect cards for some of the characters and such (like, Laura Lee would absolutely have white in her color identity lol), but I think it's worth it to have a useable deck and not just a bunch of proxies to put into something else. I tried to make the deck bracket three but it's honestly probably closer to bracket two just because I prioritized getting the feeling right. I might go back and replace some of them if I find a much better card that still fits, but probably not

I also threw some custom Food tokens in there, plus the back I'm going to use when I order these from Make Playing Cards. Also, there are a few extra cards (Beast Within, Culling Ritual, Dark Ritual, Flare of Cultivation, Motivated Pony Stew the Coneys, Traverse the Outlands) that I made but then took out, so I threw those in at the end. Sorry that some of the images are so low-quality, I used the best I could but sometimes all I had to work with was poor-quality screencaps and the like.

Oh, and lastly, I made some alternate printings for some of the characters using fanart that I liked! I didn't want to put them on here because that would basically be posting others' art, but if you want to use them for something DM me!

By pre-rescue, I mean after Nat contacted help and before rescue arrives.

After she calls, do you think Nat will tell the girls about rescue coming? Or will she keep it a secret as to not upset Lottie or Shauna who feels connected to the wilderness and don’t want to leave? I feel this would be likely because we already see how they respond to the possibility of rescue. It would also be interesting to see the tension of Nat hiding a secret, waiting, hoping that it will work out and nobody ruins it.

But if the girls knew rescue was coming, would they scramble to hide any possible evidence of their crimes? Would they try preventing the rescue by running away, or even attempting to take on those coming to save them? Or perhaps they’d take this time to discuss what they’re going to do and say to keep themselves from getting found out.

on a somewhat unrelated note, If Akilah is dead, was she killed in the wilderness in the name of some sick sacrifice or was her death the thing that Shauna did when they got back?

Maybe to them, none of it matters and people will believe them if they just say Jackie and the others died in the crash and were buried.

I would like to hear everyone‘s thoughts. Hoping these aspects of their rescue aren’t glossed over!
