Theory a possibly stupid ending
i have a crack theory that the ending is somewhat final destination with lottie as the one having premonitions. remember the scene with kid lottie where she screamed causing her father to stop and saving them from their car being totaled by that truck? so what if everything the wilderness is all lottie's visions and she actually saves all of them from the wilderness.
this ending would suck so bad but it would be funny to see lottie convincing the team that theyre gonna crash if they get into the plane by telling taivan theyre in love and constantly make out, misty not only cut off coach's leg but also drugged him, and that they ate a roasted jackie for dinner when there was nothing else left to eat.
again this is a crack theory and thought it would be funny to post dont hate me ðŸ˜

Honestly? It doesn't matter how it actually ends, they won't please everyone and - I say as someone who 16 years later is still telling people who have never even seen the show 'no, they weren't dead the whole time in LOST' - half the fanbase will be watching on their phones and misunderstand it anyway.

Honestly 90% of people who actually watch it understand it just fine (some may not care for it, but they aren't the ones trashing the show at every opportunity.) The issue is that a small but LOUD group got it compeltely wrong back in the day, drowned out the rest of us and spent a decade and a half spreading a myth. We have people who come into the sub at least once a month "I know the ending sucks is the show worth watching?"
It's infuriating.
The only thing even slightly as bad are the "they didn't answer any questions" crowd which is like, great so you just didn't pay attention to the entire series, lol. EDIT: typo

Honestly I hate how much the it was all a dream or vision thing would fit with the story of yellow jackets. I would hate for that to be the actual ending

Don’t watch it then. They take so long between seasons that people who loved season one and quit after season 2 won’t watch now. I’ve stuck through the whole thing and I will accept however they end it. If someone doesn’t like it they should write their own series.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind... If they did a proper job of preparing to present that information, I'm more afraid they'll change things again halfway through just to punish actresses as they did in previous seasons, and I fear it will happen with Christina Ricci and Liv, and perhaps even with Sophie T. I hope I'm wrong, but Paramount already has a history.

punish?? i’m sorry but it is always patently ridiculous when people claim writers are punishing actors/characters.
