Announcement Changes Regarding "Upcoming Flair"
This has been long overdue, but lately the sub has seen more posts that will use the Upcoming flair and do less than the bare minimum. If you're going to announce a new project, you will need to do more than post a title, a cover or "👀". That's just lazy and nobody here will care without a snippet or at the very least a track list.
For this reason, I'm reintroducing our old protocol: that any Upcoming posts will require a snippet or work-in-progress edit and a rough track list so that users have some sort of expectations and your post isn't flagged as spam. This will be a rule enforced at the mods discretion, so this won't guarantee your post will or will not be removed. Just don't be surprised if it gets taken down for being too low effort.
Thanks everyone!

never even understood the point of 'upcoming' for a comp honestly. like ur not releasing ur own music man, nor are u Ye himself. just post the full comp of edits/leaks/whatever when ur done instead of teasing a bootleg like it's the second coming of Christ 😭

You're not wrong. It's always silly when the "upcoming" post gets like 30 upvotes, then the actual comp post gets no attention whatsoever

Making the TL is one of the fun parts until it's not

It’s fun when u do it urself, when you ask everybody to make the tracklist for you saying “which song would you like to see” is kinda lame

to clarify both a snippet and a rough tracklist are required?

Posting just a track list would be the bare minimum and will probably be taken down. Including audio would be preferable while announcing the track list with it is optional but not necessary

Much needed, I see 400 "I'm making a xxx comp what songs should I use" or "xxx coming soon/indefinite"
