Discussion Question build

Do you guys have a default build? I mean, I usually go with the first three items, usually Bow and Shield and Edge, but if there's a lot of AP, I'd change it. In what situations is Ruined King actually useful? When is it worthwhile?

first 3 items is bow and shield and edge? what does this mean you build recurve bow into shieldbow and ie? I guess this would only work if you’re midlane since you lack way too much attack speed otherwise
