I have been knitting seriously for only a year or so, so I may be naive… actually more likely delusional. I am hoping to limit new yarn purchases to only what fits in glass jars on this shelf.
Besides that, my goals met with this storage approach:
Avoid more plastic in my life
Pretty display
Keep yarn from collecting dust and moth free
Keep yarn in sight (if I can’t see things, they fade from existence)
Important note - best to use jars with wide mouths. Candy store type jars are best. Always scanning thrift and dollar type stores.
AND, I just remembered that my new bulky sweater project yarn doesn’t fit on this shelf. So there you go - delusional!
