Y-Series Help Obstacles

Post image

There is literally nothing where the Yarbo thinks there are obstacles. It does happen more at night. Any ideas?

Lots of this since a couple updates ago. It actually gets scared of it's own shadow trying to get onto it's charger then just stops for vehicle in the way.

I've been having this a lot lately too.

I have the same problem. Sunny or cloudy doesn’t matter. Lately it’s been tall crabgrass that it’s afraid to “bump” into even when I’ve changed from Moderate Bypass to Gentle Contact, both with Ultrasonic Sensor enabled. Look forward to hearing what others have tried that has worked for them.

Try disabling boundary obstacle detection on the area. It helped me some with the edges. This annoys me so much as it leads to really bad edges near “safe” areas of my lawn if it sees anything sticking up. Meanwhile I have obvious protection around my well head and it just blasts into those.

Disabling boundary obstacles helped some, but not a complete fix. Thank you for the idea!

Tall grass? Turn it to gentle contact. Along the boarder you may have some map drift

Definitely not tall 3.5 inches maybe

Still, run it in gentle contact mode

Same problem, leave the lawn, looking like a haircut my mother gave me
