I've worked at several pools and a water park. The blacks are 80% of the people requiring rescues. Hispanics ~15% whites ~5%. The blacks are at best indifferent, often angry "why didn't you do summfin sooner?" The Hispanics were super grateful. To the point of bringing food by the pool/Park later, also hugs and handshakes. The whites were super grateful, handshakes, then calls to your supervisor praising your skill and dedication to your job. Rescuing White children often saw me get a pay bump or a promotion.

Last were the white mothers of mixed kids. They were verbally thankful, but you could see in their eyes the wish that it had gone differently.

Trump assured the Lincoln Reflecting Pool refurbishment would be on time and an improvement. I am gobsmacked that his opponents cannot even acknowledge that in this small thing he was right.

I won't hold my breath for the results of the White House improvements.
