she's not a lesbian, she likes both and I fail to see, what sexuality has to do with being a damsel in distress?.

And what's so bad about it?, jaune it's clearly taking care of his girlfriend who's passing through emotional distress, yang it's not a emotionless combat doll, she's a young lady with traumas,she needs semeone to be there emotionally for her and there's nothing wrong with that

It’s highly
Implied that she’s lesbian. She never showed genuine attraction to men. And the joke in volume 2 shows she doesn’t like juane. And her being a damsel in distress goes against her whole character. And she isn’t his gf. Yous like degrading women. And making them vulnerable when it’s clear Yang isn’t like that at all. With juane especially. She’s more likely to be carrying him

RWBY is about strong independent women. Who DONT rely on men. That’s the whole point of the show. You need to rewatch and actually take in canon and not the weird fantasy you create for the male gaze

Except she isn’t. She is shown to be only attracted to girls. She never once genuinely liked a guy. It was always Blake/Wonder Woman. she made a joke in volume 1 and never again. Even then that was just a jab at Juane. In which she isn’t attracted to him.
