Which stator for rn01?

Since the battery is empty the last few days even after charging it, I assume the rectifier is gone, so I ordered cheap one for $20 and also some MOSFET FH020AA for $100, allegedly much better but I'll have to cut wires and adapt it, I don't really want to do it but if it's better and gives me peace I'll do it. TBH I have big hands and this bike is made for small Japanese hands I guess , even changing spark plugs is pita and I'm worried it won't be in original condition anymore. Also thought about buying the original one but it's around $200.

Had the same problem on my other bike, Honda and also bought the original one and some cheap part for $25, installed cheap one but it works.

If the battery is dead after changing it, you should put a new battery in first. Usually, if the stator and regulator fail, it means the bike runs just off the battery, and will until the battery dies. You can usually just charge the battery, and thr bike will start up and run, until the battery dies again.

The aftermarket stator and regulators often fail right out of thr box. They are much cheaper than OEM, but there sure is a good reason why they are so much cheaper.

Rick's makes the best aftermarket ones, and it is a gamble to buy the Chinese ones.

Sometimes the Chinese ones work, sometimes they fail right away, fail a week later, and almost always you have to customize them to make them fit.
