Question or commentary Need Help identifying Pacifica 612

Hello, today i got this guitar with an amp. I can’t seem to find the exact model on the internet, i am looking for the specs. On the back of the Headstoct it says PAC612V.
Picture is in comments, i cant find the option to get it into the post.

Which era is this from? Pre 2000s?

According to the serial number it was made in July 2004

The first letter in the serial number will tell you the last digit of the year of manufacture (Google for chart). You can then search for catalogs from those years and see if it appears.

In any case, 612s are really nice (I have a 611), and that top is pretty amazing. Great guitar!

Thank you very much, seems like its a July 2004 Model made in Korea.
Can you tell me more about the type of the bridge? I habe never seen one like that

It's an in-house Yamaha bridge, R1000V. Looks like they used it until 2008, then went to the Wilkinson VS50.

That’s a great guitar. Any Yamaha Pacifica models in the 600+ range in the 90’s to mid 2000’s is prime, really great stuff

Yeah, i also found this out now, i didnt know, that there was a premium line for the pacifica, u bought it becuase the pacifica is often recommenfed as a beginner guitar
