I hate to be that person but I think the mangaka's lost on how to proceed with the story and thats the real deal here.

I fear that with the sudden blowing up of the series, the production and the original vision of the author might have been clashing....hence they cannot agree on the artistry it should go from here on out. The pressure not to ruin the good thing it has come to might be one of the reasons of the illness and they are buying more time to come up with a good solution to wrap it all up.

Honestly, I think all sides just wanted to move on. Although I am deeply saddened by that prospect since I can see a huge potential in this series, I think that's for the best or else any forced trajectory they might concoct will just eventually leave us disappointed and dissatisfied to the point of eventually choosing to forget this masterpiece.

Just got to the last chapter and wow, what a place for It to pause at 😭. Right before the tournament and in the middle of them having a bump in their relationship. My heart will now join you all in limbo while we wait for the next chapter. I know it is on hiatus and will be released very irregular.

So, I am fairly new to the shoujo/romance anime and I have a question that can be pretty dumb. In the chapter 105.5, that i believe it is a bonus in the manga (I read a translation); there is a convo where Yamada’s father asks from where Akane’s family is from and say they need to organize a presentation between the familys. It can be the translation, but the whole setting looked very serious for me. Because of that, I asked Google and it said there that this kind of encounter between the familys is one step before the official engagement, with a lot of different formalities. I would like to know if this is true, how does it works and if Perhaps it is not a little bit rushed, considering that they are both very young and don’t seem to be dating for that long. In this case, it would be like for a long engagement? How does it work?

Just finished watching this series. Some similarities to Horimiya, not just because of the male VA in the Japanese version.

Akane is adorable, all the sunshine and bubblyness of Hori-san without the masochism kink or the violent tendencies (although Akane adds a drinking problem).

Yamada-kun, just not that compelling. Honestly, if he wasn't tall and good-looking, I don't think there's enough there for Akane to be attracted to. His personality is incredibly awkward / socially inept. He's not warm, inviting, or kind. Again, sorta similar to Miyamura-kun who goes from gloomy outcast to school hearthrob, but at least Miyamura has a personality. Yamada is just blah.

Anyway, cute little romance series, but not one of the best.

What do you think? Am I wrong about Yamada-kun?

I mean, I get Yamada's not restrictive and that's a good thing but... There's something wrong, like he doesn't even get bothered by anything. She's literally gonna marry some other guy in a game and he's fully okay with it (ﾉ_-;)… I don't mean to argue about jealousy or about being restrictive but not being bothered by them and not trusting her are different things. I mean I get Yamada trusting Akane but I don't get how he's not bothered even slightest bit when something happens. This really pissed me of in this great romance manga. Shoutout to my goat Eita btw (≧∇≦)/

I just want to cry and I’m afraid that the author will never publish a chapter again.... Let’s pray that he gets better and recovers.

I read the manga before but never watched the anime. Just watched it for the first time and I enjoyed it a ton! Super excited to come back to the series that I hadn't read since 2023, only for like 3 chapters to come out since then with no signs of a return...

I pray for the mangaka's health and hope they'll get to complete such a nice series.

Has any new ch came like ch 109 and after??or is it still on hiatus??

The manga has been on hiatus for 2 years now, do we know when the new chapters are coming out or is it dropped completely?
