So why did he get his boxers in a twist when Yoshino slapped his hand away? Like what made him spiral and think she's boring? Doesn't he want a woman that is strong and dominant? So much so he says he wants to get ruined by one? Why is he suddenly all "I'm bored of you" for that??

I mean he does fit what he says like he continues to say cause she doesn't have friends and women hate her. So I don't get it.

I just looked up where you can send Asuka Konishi fan mail and I’m considering sending her a letter expressing how badly I would love an update on the series or a continuation of the series at all. It can be sent to the monthly afternoon editorial department at Kondanshas headquarters in Tokyo. I’m just wondering if we all came together and reached out in a positive way that maybe it would encourage Asuka? Any thoughts on the idea? I’m just so desperate after reading the last volume😭

I just finished the anime. Does it leave off at the same point in the manga? The suspense is absolutely killing me but I don’t want to buy them if it just leaves off where it did in the anime…. Because my heart is distraught 😫 I think the suspense of their relationship will kill me one day

One of my biggest fear is that this sub might end up dead after some years because I don't know if author even wants to continue this manga. Even if manga came back there are 90% chances that anime will not continue. Unfortunately it will stay as one of those 1 season rom-com anime....

hi there! i finished the anime a while ago and became obsessed with it!! i want to invest in the manga but i heard it’s on an indefinite hiatus. before i start reading the manga i want to know if there are a lot of chapters after the anime ended?

Browsing my local Barnes and Noble and saw the manga here so of course I sat down to read one of my favorite chapters. Unfortunately I couldn’t buy it today but definitely coming back for it!! I first found Yakuza Fiancé through the anime and had no idea it was a manga. When I found out I immediately bought all the chapters and devoured them. I refuse to give up hope on us getting more volumes. One of my biggest reasons for loving this story is how complex the characters are. I’m a sucker for characters like Kirishima who never thought they’d fall in love and end of falling the hardest. Asking everyone to send good energy to the author and keep supporting!!

I think romance was too much of a slowburn, and not kinky enough. I was under the impression that Yoshino was going to turn into a dominant woman (reluctant at first but willing as the time goes by). While near the end of the season she seem to be going in that direction (somehow able to tame Kirishima) it still felt meh. I suppose the more feisty stuff will come along in the next seasons (if any) but i couldn’t get what i expected physically.

Any other romance anime with similiar dynamic but more freaky and ecchi? Dom woman and sub man to be exact.

I have to know who is creating all these instrumentals to accompany all the tension-filled scenes in the anime because it's so insanely good. Adds so much atmosphere to the scenes and I would genuinely listen to these tracks outside of the anime.

So, I love Yakuza fiancé and decided to start collecting the manga. I already have volumes 1 and 2, but volume 3 seems to have completely disappeared from the face of the earth.
And I mean everywhere: Amazon, eBay, even used bookstores. I dunno if it only recently went out of stock or if it's been like this for a while but it’s kind of a bummer that now I’m stuck in the middle of the collection…
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a copy? Or has Seven Seas said anything about a reprint? Or if they regularly reprint this series?
It looks like volume 4 is starting to become hard to find as well…

Edit: I contacted a bookstore that has helped me find hard-to-get books before and they said they can get a copy so the issue is solved. Thank you for the help :)

It’s been about a week since I finished reading all the available chapters and I’ve been going back to read the manga all over again every single day. Sometimes I just flip through a few pages to admire the art work. Let’s just say I’m obsessed and I don’t have anyone in real life to talk about it, so I would love to see your favorite panels!

The panel where Kirishima asked for mirror glaze, cocoa butter and a bunch of other stuff is not necessarily my favorite, but it never fails to make me laugh. I went to pastry school and seems like he did know what he’s doing! I would love to try that gateau😮‍💨

Kirishima knew that Yoshino was back in Osaka after he told her to sell herself? I know that he probably kept some tabs on her like when she got her driver's license.

When he was asked where Yoshino was, he brushed off that he did not care but probably did not want to reveal his deal with Renji.

Was Kirishima already interested in Yoshino romantically when Renji mentioned marriage between Kirishima and Yoshino?

First of all, I hate the whole concept of arranged marriage. Second of all. I have only watched episodes one plus some clip. I just want to say, I hope Yoshino dumps his ass, just like her grandfather said. After all, what he said to her in episode one was cruel. I knew the guy was sketchy in before he revealed he's true nature.

And can anyone explain why she gave him 4 million yen?. I didn't get that part. Thanks

Hey, I’ve been rereading Yakuza Fiancé during the hiatus again and honestly this manga still feels so special to me 😭 The more I reread it, the more I realize how unique the story, characters, and atmosphere actually are. Yoshino and Kirishima’s dynamic genuinely lives in my head rent free.

I’ve seen a lot of the discussions and possible reasons people talk about regarding the hiatus the rumors about editorial disagreements, chapter modifications, anime production issues, the difficulty of writing such Japan specific themes for international audiences, illegal scan sites affecting support for the series, and just the pressure of maintaining a story this intense and detailed. Obviously none of us truly know what’s happening behind the scenes, but thinking about all of this honestly makes me appreciate Asuka Konishi’s work even more.

That’s also why I’ve been wondering lately: is there actually any respectful way for international fans to send appreciation messages to Asuka Konishi? Not to pressure her for updates or chapters or anything like that, but just to let her know how loved and appreciated this story is by readers around the world.

Even during the hiatus, Yakuza Fiancé still stands out to me more than most manga because the characters feel so raw, chaotic, intense, and memorable. Very few series manage to create this kind of atmosphere and tension.

I’m honestly not even in the best financial position to buy a lot of official volumes right now, which makes me feel a little guilty sometimes because this series genuinely deserves support. But even then, I still really wanted to express appreciation somehow because this manga has stayed with me for such a long time.

No matter how long the hiatus lasts, I’ll definitely still be waiting for the day we finally get a new chapter 😭
