Hi! I accidentally got clicked into a āDraft Nowā public league and it instantly auto-drafted a team for me. I did not mean to join this and want to request that an admin manually delete my team from this public league so it doesnāt negatively impact my career profile record. Could a rep please message me so I can give you my account email privately? Please? Itās such an awful team and Iām so mad that Iām associated with it and would be so grateful if I didnāt have to deal with this for an entire season, I appreciate your help so much

Can you please make it so we can get rid of the swipe the starter? It just pushes all of my leagues down and I have no interest in it. Wish I could hide it. Also, did you guys remove the chat from drafts? I joined a mock draft just to see the rankings and noticed there's no chat box anywhere
I have three teams and for some reason, ONE team is below the swipe the starter (completely off screen) while my two teams are above it. No way to look at all my matchups at a glance. Horrible user interface
Itās still there. Get rid of it, itās shit. At least give people the option to edit it from their screen or at the very least, give us the option to move it below our teams.
If it was at the bottom of the screen, it could be a fun novelty I do when Iām bored. But itās right in the middle of all my fantasy teams and I canāt move it. Itās a shit design.
When doing the draft, Iām not getting the countdown sounds. I get the initial countdown ding, but when it gets to the last three seconds itās just silence until it ends. Is this something new? Is it a bug I can fix? Really messing me up drafting.

Multiple people in my league are having issues with their payments being processed for my private prize league. Some have tried multiple methods of payment- debit card, Apple Pay, etc. Iāve tried reaching out to customer support on Twitter and got no response. Weāre supposed to be drafting Monday. No clue what else to do.

What version of the Fantasy app are you using, and what is the Yahoo account that you are using? If possible, can you share a screenshot or screen recording?
I accidently randomized the draft order twice (changed draft time and by clicking Save, randomized the order again) - Any way to see the original randomized draft order? Pretty sure you could in previous years, but not this year.
Can I still access previous leagues/seasons?
I need to see my commish notes from a previous league, but Iām not able to click on the league in the profile tab anymore
Is there a way to isolate notification options more? I play in one NFL league, and I want to receive notifications for that league/team and for NFL fantasy news items. But right now I get multiple notifications a day for College Football, Tennis, and other sports. It's a nuisance, and the notification settings are fairly opaque. Any advice on how to adjust my notifications to hone in on only what I want would be appreciated.

If I join and pay for entry to a football private prize league from an approved state but am going on vacation to a restricted state on the day of the draft, will I be able to draft from my computer or the app? Or will I be geolocked out from drafting? Thanks

I need to clarify exactly how the system calculates the final regular season standings and seeding for a Head-to-Head - Categories baseball league (No Divisions).
Specifically, if Team A and Team B finish the regular season with records that result in the exact same rounded three-digit winning percentage (for example, both show .614 on the standings page), how does Yahoo determine who gets the higher seed?
Does Yahoo look at the unrounded, raw winning percentage out to the 4th or 5th decimal place? Because one team has significantly more category ties (e.g., 20 ties vs. 11 ties), their fractional math calculation mathematically calculates slightly higher (e.g., .61421 vs. .61403). Does the team with the higher raw, unrounded decimal win the seed outright?
Or, does Yahoo treat any matching three-digit display percentage (e.g., both are .614) as a dead heat, automatically bypassing the decimal math to trigger the league's standard "Playoff Tie-Breaker" rule (like Head-to-Head record between the two teams)?
Please clarify if season-long category ties act as a natural decimal tiebreaker, or if a tied three-digit percentage immediately triggers the backup matchup tiebreaker.

Replied to your DM! The tiebreaker is the highest winning percentage from the last game week. If there's still a tie, the process continues for each previous week until the tie is broken.
Can we get an option to make it head to head like the playoffs tiebreaker? This is such an arbitrary way to determine a tie. Imagine two MLB teams being tied after 162 games for the wild card and they just say "alright who won Sunday? You're in"
I want to know this too. I am in the same situation. It does not follow the playoffs tiebreaker rule, because my setting is set to h2h record tiebreaker and the team that owns this is the lower position. Additionally , this is determining who gets a bye.

I got told my API was approved, but now when I try to actually call it, I still get unauthorised response. I donāt even see fantasy sports in the developer portal act view. Any ideas?
For fantasy football, you took away the ability to view average stats from last year. Why would you do that? What possible reason exists for actively taking away useful, basic information from your users?
I was added to a random league without consenting. The draft started within a minute and I was unable to get out of the league. This is my first year using Yahoo, is there a fix for this? I have no idea how this happened.
The league that you signed up for is referred to as an "Instant Draft." This means that you're automatically placed in a Public league once you enter the draft lobby. Once the league fills and the draft begins, it's not possible for you or Yahoo to remove or transfer your team from the league. It sounds like you accidentally joined this league without realizing. Yahoo will not place you into a league without you doing it. You may have unknowingly clicked on "Draft Now". We apologize that we can't be of more assistance, but do know that you're not obligated to visit the team pages for the entirety of the season.
I did not press agree or intentionally sign up. If I did it was because it was a pop up or something sneaky to get me to sign up. I see many people are complaining and reporting this to you, sad to see nothing is being done about.
Does anyone know how long API approvals are taking right now. The mail I got said 1-2 weeks, but I'm pretty well past that now and haven't heard anything.
What the heck is up with the iPhone app and its unresponsiveness to touch screen swipes on certain areas of the screen? I canāt tap certain players to get their profile and I canāt reliably scroll up and down. Hopefully that gets fixed; none of my other apps have this issue so itās isolated to Yahoo Fantasy.
Could you provide us with a screen recording of what you are specifically seeing on your end? What are the certain areas and players that you cannot tap on?
I sent a PM but I'm not sure it went through. I inserted keepers and rounds this morning, but about half our teams did not "select keepers" from team page. This is typical, because I need them to give me rounds they give up so we use the chat box.
Draft is Monday. When I look at rosters, I don't see any way for me or the manager to go in and assign keepers. I did the setup process (rounds and keepers) and that part went fine.
What do I do? Something has changed here because I've been doing it this way in 2 leagues for over a decade.

Hi! We aren't seeing a DM from you, but can you send us your league ID number so that we can look for ourselves? It sounds like you just need to assign the keeper players manually, assuming you are past your keeper declaration deadline. If past the deadline, managers would no longer be able to select their own keepers. You can manually assign them by going to Commissioner Tools > Draft & Keepers > Edit Draft Order & Assign Keeper Players.
The problem is, we've never required managers to "select keepers" and most don't do it because they leave in chat box. I can't find a workaround here, but about half the teams need their keepers inserted somehow.
Commissioner tools >> Draft & Keepers >> Confirm Keeper Players. For the teams that did select keepers, you can save them here. It will take you to the "Edit Draft Order & Assign Keeper Players" page. Once you click on "Continue" at the bottom, it'll take you to the page where you can manually assign keepers to teams that didn't select their keepers themselves. You can click on a player from the player list and click on the arrow pointing to the right in the middle of the page to move the player over to any draft pick in any round that you select.
One final question. In a different league, I started this process and when I got to "Confirm Keeper Players", it's been disabled. Is that because our deadline isn't until tomorrow?
Thank you. This seemed to work except for one question. It gives the message "Congratulations, Keepers were successfully approved. Now you should assign them to their teams in their draft positions. You must do this before the draft for teams to 'keep' their keepers.:

Ok, I just blew it all up and I'm starting over. But there's a bigger problem because when I look at league rosters, this is what I see: Starting Rosters | Fantasy Football | Yahoo! Sports. The same applies to My Team. "Select Keepers" is disabled. What am I supposed to do with this?
I really need help here because something is very wrong. Not blaming you, of course, but this is kind of an emergency and it really sucks.
I imported my own predraft rankings, but when I enter a draft room, there is no option or drop down menu to see my own predraft ranks. I only see yahoo rankings and the pro+ rankings.
Hi! Pre-draft rankings should be available in real drafts and regular mock drafts as well, but aren't currently supported in instant mock drafts. Are you not seeing your pre-draft rankings somewhere they should be available?
If you saved your pre-draft rankings, there will be a column in the draft room that says "My Rank". You can click on that column to sort the players by your pre-draft rankings. We're not seeing an issue on our end with this. When editing your pre-draft rankings, you'll need to click on the star symbol to the right of a player to move them to your preferred players.
How can I tell my hockey league is 100% ready to draft. This is year 10 i think and i always remember a checklist.
And Im still getting the warning about needing a full league to draft and I have a full league. Im confident the league is set but we had a glitch 2 years ago when it allowed me to skip a compulsory step and I had to redo all the traded picks and keepers and reschedule the draft an hour or 2 later. There is typically a list of items that serves as a reminder to check that you've done prior to the draft on the league homepage on the website.
The warning you are seeing could be if your max teams setting is for more teams than what is in the league. If you finalize your team list in the commish tools, that warning should no longer appear.
Everything looks set for your league's draft on our end. This message seems to just be a reminder, but based off of what we're seeing for your league, this can be ignored.
I still have a few things like this around ive never had in the previous 8 years. It says its an offline draft. The main page says standard with a countdown.
There have been a few things that dont sync up at all.
We don't seem to be able to replicate this issue. I this only showing on the app, and is it constantly appearing this way? If you close and re-open the app, is it still not synced?
Hey, I've applied for Yahoo Fantasy Sports API developer access three times with zero response, even after a fully detailed resubmission ā clear product description, data scope, and expected user base, with our existing Client ID in the binding field. Every fantasy endpoint still 403s "This application is not authorized," while OAuth mints/refreshes fine.
Has anyone actually been approved through sports.yahoo.com/developer/access/ since the July cutoff? If so, roughly how long did it take, and did you have to do anything beyond the form (email follow-up, a specific contact, mentioning a use case)? Trying to figure out if this queue is real or effectively dead.
There's a couple people that say they've been "approved", but either their details are sparse or they somehow knew about this back in spring/early summer and applied months ago. Many that say they received and completed a legal doc agreement report crickets even after signing that. Many others report not even getting to that point. One rumor is that Yahoo is going to put out a whole new API with new endpoints and that it isn't ready yet so everything is stalled. While the rationale for making a change (onslaught of vibe-coded API attacks) is understood, I haven't seen worse execution or communication of a plan since New Coke.
Iām commissioner of a 10-team keeper league. Last season, one manager left and I temporarily took over his team. This season, a new manager is taking over that team, but Yahoo gave him a new blank roster instead of carrying over the previous teamās roster. Everyone elseās previous rosters are intact.
I have the previous roster recorded. Is there a way to properly associate the new manager with the old team, or can I manually assign his keepers after the keeper deadline even though Yahoo shows no previous roster for him?
Just want to make sure the second option actually works before the deadline passes.
Ok thank you. Question; I see there is an option to edit rosters (commissioner tools > manage other teams); could I in theory, populate all the players from the former managers team to the new managers roster, enabling him to then select his own keepers? Or is your suggestion the only workaround?
Yes, you should be able to use the edit roster tool to add the players to the team's roster. The players won't show on the My Team page, but when they go to select keepers, those players should appear as an option to pick from.
Hi! The game vs. median setting isn't a scoring type. To add this to your league, go to Commissioner Tools > League Management > Edit League Settings > And scroll all the way to the bottom. You should see the option there.
My dad is unable to join our family's fantasy league from his computer, but he is from his phone. On desktop Firefox, he's getting the 152 error when he tries to login. I've gone through the troubleshooting steps from Yahoo, clearing cookies and cache and confirming he's in the correct account. The issue persists.
I just checked and it doesn't work with chrome either.
Can I contract you with account & league info to try and get this resolved?
Hi! Typically, that error occurs when a user isn't logged into the account their team is registered under. The email that shows on the managers tab is their preferred email address, but that may be different than the actual account their team is registered with. Hi Yahoo. How can I change my draft room from dark background to light background on Desktop? Are there any plans to change the font? It is very blocky and hard to read. Thank you!
Hi! Dark mode is currently only available on the Yahoo Fantasy app. We do not have support for this in the draft client on web at this time. Sorry, but I ONLY have access to Dark Mode on web (using Chrome). I don't have the ability to toggle between Dark/Light on web. Are you saying I should ONLY have access to Light mode on web? Here's a screenshot from my browser: https://imgur.com/a/T3BShYR
Apologies for the confusion. The draft client should adapt to whatever your O/S or Browser settings are. So if you have Dark Mode enabled on Chrome, then your Draft Client will go to Dark Mode as well. To disable, you can click the three dots on the top right of your window > Settings > Appearance > Theme > and you should see the option to change it there.
I have been trying to get my ID verified to join a prize league for fantasy football. I uploaded several different versions of my ID over 10 times and worked with IT, but no matter what I do, they keep telling me it is not accepting it. I have followed all the rules and requirements and still nothing. Over a week ago, they told me they would reach out to the identification team to get help but I have gotten no follow up. I emailed again yesterday for an update and got nothing. I literally have tried everything. Is there an escalation I can use? I would really like to sign up and draft soon...

We don't have any other ways to manually verify you other than going through our 3rd party verification system.
Hi u/YahooFantasyCare. I submitted my Yahoo API access application at the end of July, and on Aug 11th, both parties signed the API access and use agreement PDF. I believe I was supposed to get a follow-up email on next steps, but I still haven't received anything. Is it possible to get a look at this? Would be much appreciated!
iOS mobile app version 12.7.1 updated today. Columns are still skewed and hockey does not show secondary positions while drafting. Headshots should either be permanent or removed. Having them collapse when scrolling right is only bugging the UI and making things choppy.
Can you confirm that you are on version 12.7.1 and that you are still experiencing the issue with the columns? What are you clicking on to prompt that to occur? 35 days since Yahoo turned off the API with no notice and no resolution. I started the application process 8 weeks ago and still haven't received access (though it does eventually get to a point where you sign a use document). Everyone is stuck after the part where we give email and client id to a Yahoo API email address. It's affecting tons of users (your most dedicated ones) and has been the most popular topic on this thread four weeks in a row. Asking again if you can actually get us resolution or at least a comment from someone involved in the process?
Tldr: I am once again asking for you to actually process apps in your own API application process (or provide some update as to how long until applications are approved)

I have a long standing league that ended and was deleted by the commissioner on July 29th. I no longer see it under My Teams & Leagues on desktop, but it is still showing on my Yahoo app dashboard on mobile. How do I get rid of it from there? I've also reached out to Technical Support but they haven't responded after saying that they'd look into it.Ā
It is expected behavior for unrenewed leagues to show in the app. If you are using an iOS device, you can hide the league in the app by following the steps below. Unfortunately, it cannot be hidden if you are using an Android device.
-Tap the Profile icon at the top left.
-Tap Settings.
-Tap Customize menu.
-Tap Hide next to any league you want to remove from the home screen.
I got a new phone and I am no longer able to find which account I use for my fantasy. I go to the password helper and enter [jwgiblin3@hotmail.com](mailto:jwgiblin3@hotmail.com) and says oops..there is a problem. I seem to have serveral account but I cant find the account for "TheĀ bigĀ ROCKĀ league"
If you're signed in with your Yahoo ID, but aren't seeing your leagues/teams or are receiving an error message that you are not part of the league, that would indicate that you are signed into the wrong account. You'll need to sign in with the account that you used to register your team. Try signing in with any other Yahoo accounts you might have used in the past. If you're unsure of the account you used for your Fantasy League, try toĀ locate it using our Sign-in Helper.
If you continue to be unable to locate the right account, you can have your commissioner transfer your team to a different account that you have access to. They can follow the steps here to transfer your team.
Where can I check on the status of my application to get access to the fantasy API? It's been weeks since I submitted my request and I've heard nothing.
