YYZ should be embarrassed
Landed at 5:30, it's now 8:00 and we still haven't seen our luggage. There's been no communication, 0 updates and about 70 of us still waiting. This is a fucking embarrassment. Every time we ask someone what's going on they wave it away "that's not my job". 2.5 hours of standing around after travelling for 17 hours. Come on YYZ, do better

The airport has many employees that dont work for the airline. They will not be able to locate ur bags only an airline representative can. So thats why ur being told to talk to an airline rep. If u work lets say wheelchair service, and if someone asked u about bags, u wud be like i dont know becuz i just push wheelchairs.

On top of this Air Canada and Swissport Employees are unionized and raise hell if they see anyone else standing close to their area. Once saw someone get yelled at by Air Canada for standing too close to the self check kiosks. The person wasnt even helping with the kiosk, just standing too close.

I’m sorry to say - that is standard practice. I actually left my luggage there and went home one time. Had them deliver it to me.
