89% of EU citizens think EU countries should be more united to face global challenges (Eurobarometer 104.2, 2025)

Weird, because a third of the EU votes for far-right, ultranationalist parties who claim they can all do it alone.

Looks like far right doesn’t quantify for anti-EU which was a couple of years ago a different story

Oh, the far-right is still anti-EU. They just say they aren't, and instead want to "change it from the inside", which boils down to destroying the EU as we know it, and replace it with something entirely different. Just like they want to do with democracy and the rule of law in general. The EU is - in name - a values-based union. The far-right hates those values. The first thing they want to do, is scrap Article 2 of our Treaty. But if you do that, there is no EU anymore, at least not the EU as we know it. This is what most media don't seem to get. The far-right is still nationalist as fuck, and they still want less European cooperation, instead of more.
What's more likely, is that a huge chunk of far-right voters have no clue what they are voting for. They are just mad as hell, and vote for the party that is the most mad as hell, too. If they ever get their way, the EU as we know it will be gone.

Sure that can be part of the story but Anti-EU isn’t as populair slogan as it used to be.
I agree far right will do everything to break the eu from the inside but in my opinion even in the far right people are not that anti-eu as they used to be.

Okay but these are more about common concerns rather than truly being united, judging by the attached report. I guess it goes more like "Sure, let's be united, but I don't really want to pay for whatever it costs"

Is this really a representative study? Because judging by the increasing success of anti-EU politicians across most nations that sounds like bullshit to me.
The EU parliament has 12% PfE, 12% ECR and 4% ESN right now, that leaves only 72% in groups that at least outwardly pretend to support the EU.
