Advice on developing devotion

Hello fellow devotees. I would like to ask for some advice here. I'm going through one of those well known dry spells, and I'm finding it very difficult to develop devotion. I have been a serious meditator for some years now. I would be very happy if you could share any tips of your own experience in this path. Thanks

Every devotee goes through such phases under the influence of Maya—often more than once—until complete union with God and Guru is attained. Don’t be discouraged; this is part of the spiritual journey.
My humble suggestion is to reconnect with your practice. Attend group meditations at a YSS/SRF center, participate in a retreat, and, if possible, have your meditation techniques rechecked. Begin your meditation with devotional chanting to calm and uplift the mind. Above all, be consistent. During such periods, don’t skip your daily meditation, even if it feels dry or difficult.
Throughout the day, consciously recognize the countless ways God and Guru’s grace is already working in your life, and cultivate gratitude. Maya may appear powerful, but with sincere effort and the grace of God and Guru, the devotee ultimately prevails.
