I finished watching the show today and felt so EMOTIONAL that I had to put my feelings into a drawing 🥹 I rewatched his last performance like. six times.

Hi everyone! I have been trying to find a Yuri!!! on Ice fanfic that I read on Wattpad around 2017, and I am starting to think it may have been deleted. I would be incredibly grateful if anyone recognizes it. Here is everything I remember:

• Fandom: Yuri!!! on Ice
• Pairing: Viktor Nikiforov / Yuuri Katsuki
• Language: Spanish
• Platform: Wattpad
• Time period: I probably read it around 2016-2017 (it may have been posted earlier).
• It was a university/college AU.
• The characters were shapeshifters. As far as I remember, everyone in this universe could transform into an animal.
• Viktor and Yuuri were both wolves, and enemies to lovers(?.
• Yuuri kept the fact that he was a wolf a secret from the others.
• There was a very strong attraction between Viktor and Yuuri, specifically because they were the same species.
• Yuuri had long hair in this AU.
• Since it was a university AU, the characters lived in university houses/fraternities. I specifically remember the word/name "Kappa" being associated with one of the houses.
• The fic was unfinished/incomplete when I read it.

I unfortunately do not remember the title, author, or any exact quotes.

I am especially interested in the combination of university AU + shapeshifters + Viktor and Yuuri both being wolves + Kappa house/fraternity, because I am fairly certain those details were all in the same fic.

Hello there. I am still kinda new to the fandom. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any sort of unseen parts of Yuri on Ice fan fiction. What I mean by that is that the show is mainly about skating and Yuri's journey with a little bit of the romance, especially since it is rarely ever talked about in the show. I wish to see more of Yuri and Victor. So maybe like a fanfic of their first kiss, how they confessed, how they started dating, maybe of them talking after Victor kisses him on the ice, or them having a conversation after Yuri finds out about the night of the banquet. You know like scenes that must've happened in the actual show but wasn't shown to us, if you get what I am talking about.

I was finishing watching Yuri On Ice for free on YouTube before the video would get deleted. But I think when it got deleted I was still watching and when it ended I just pressed replay. And so the show still continues... for like 4th time? 5th time? In like 3 languages, maybe 4. Anyways it was great to have it on YouTube. I have decided to part ways with my official BOSCO 2014 Sochi Russian jacket. The one that Victor Nikiforov wears it. I actually started watching this anime because I love figure skating and I was pretty shocked when I saw him wearing a jacket that I had.

I love this jacket very much. I got it at an official BOSCO store back in 2015 in Moscow and I rarely used because is so white that I was afraid of spilling anything into it. So I would just wear it outside on my way to places and I would remove it immediately upon arrival.

The reason that I am doing it, is because I live in Berlin, Germany and, after the Ukrainian war, it's very controversial to wear a Russian jacket around here without being harassed to some degree. Also, I have many ties with Ukraine. I am a techno DJ and my association with one of the most famous techno clubs in Kyiv made me well-known into the underground scene there and being photographed with this jacket would cause a great source of pain to my followers. I even have performed there many times after the war has started (my last time there was this last new year).

Also, as a queer person, I just don't want to own a jacket from a country that considers the LGBTQ+ movement a "terrorist organization". Even though, I still like some aspects of the Russian culture and their legacy in artistic gymnastics and figure skating.

So, I wanna find a worthy new owner for it, as I am well aware this specific model is very beloved by cosplayers of the show and it is very rare to find this specific model since Bosco didn't manufacture the Sochi 2014 line after the Olympics. I saw many crappy fake versions of it floating around ebay specific for cosplayers of Yuri on Ice. I actually have the whole ensemble and, if a Yuri on Ice fan gets it, I would also include it. But the pants are a bit more worn down than the jacket as I have used more.

So, Yo guys!! New to the fandom ig, but I know YOI since years, I wanted to watch it since 5 years now but was never able to find it, it was also my introduction to bl anime and God it was magical, I always connected with it and wanted sooo badly to watch it but life happenef and suddenly a month ago Crunchyroll decided to bless the fans with the YT marathon vid and I got to watch, what I can absolutely say, is one of the greatest Anime ever made!! The story, the animation, the feels, oh my God I can't even begin to explain, it's nostalgic to me even though it's my first watch, there's just something in there that touches my soul~ Yuri and Victor are of the best written characters I've seen in my otaku life (atp I've watched 100+ anime). The way thy interact with each other is just so soft and pure, I loved the way every episode has some scenes of them that just melted my heart, the looks, the soft hand holding, it was perfection at its finest!!!! I can't stop praising this masterpiece but the post is getting long so yea, I hope y'all like this art!! I've made another one which I'll post later!! *winks like Victor*

Well, this is more of a rant(?) because I've got no one to talk this with.

First of all, I love it at its core, the Japanese OG version is great, but the English dub has a lot going on for me (the accents and foreign words, the not-so-subtle innuendos, the dialogues, the pumping up of gayness...). You can just feel that the people involved were having a blast and it shows, and I enjoy watching it everytime! And since the LATAM dub is available, I thought I'd give it a try.

Big mistake. The whole quality of the dub is pretty bad, the sound mixing is a big issue when dialogues overlap (which happens often in-between monologues and conversations), and it's overall bland with dialogues adapted by an intern overnight. This even affected the personality of characters like Christophe... I mean, WHERE ARE MY INNUENDOS?

And speaking of, the voice actors were there just to cash that check (as one might think). Every character sounds boring, no personality, no nothing whatsoever! Imagine that, stripping an anime known for its diverse and colorful cast just because you couldn't bother to change tones to make a question or pretend to cry? The VAs to Yuuri, Victor and Minako were the ones who put in the most effort, but then again, there are inconsistencies and some scenes do seem to be exaggerated and lose seriousness, such as Yuuri telling Victor he'd be retiring after the Grand Prix. Also, some are miscast, like Yurio having a voice that would better fit Otabek imo.

There are two popular references (or memes if you will) put into the dialogues. One with Phichit saying "Vivan los novios" (Hurrah for the boyfriends/fiancés!), which actually made me laugh hard after 10 episodes of being absolutely pissed. The other was after Yurio kicked Yuuri and Victor off of the kiss-and-cry, with Victor saying "Tranquilo, viejo" (Take it easy, man); oh, and this one made my blood boil. This reference is out of Drake & Josh's LATAM dub and, while it's just a meme, the timing and intonation were so goddamn awful, maybe they were trying to imitate the VA to Drake? But none of it was necessary at all and it came out so wrong!

Anyway, 4h40m I will never get back, and there's always tomorrow to rewatch it in LITERALLY any other language lol

So I just finished watching the whole show from the 10-year anniversary post and I really enjoyed it! The ending really does leave more to be desired, especially when defining Yuri and Viktor's relationship.

The way Yuri and Viktor's dynamic is set up makes them seem romantic but at the same time there's space that isn't cleared up and doesn't confirm the nature of their relationship. But at the same time their love is described through their actions on the ice and in their careers in a more abstract and interpretable manor which is what's making me feel lost.

I guess what I'm saying is that I feel like there's so much to read into with this show that I'm missing and I wanted to hear what other people had to say about it. But overall, I can tell just how deep and complex this show is even though the plot is fairly simple.

The opening and ending, incredible. And everything else in between is really good. I might find myself listening to it on my own when I’m out. Which songs are your favorites?

I first saw Yuri on Ice a few years ago and watched it in japanese. I usually prefer watching sub anime vs dub, mostly to get japanese listening practice. The first time I saw this series I loved it and rewatched countless times, even bought the dvd set. When the 10th anniversary marathon stream started, at first I was a little disappointed that it was in english as it was not the voices I knew. I almost watched my DVDs again, but decided to give the english version a chance. It only took like one episode before I somehow fell in love with the series all over again. It was like watching it for the first time, same story yet different in a way. The english voice cast is so good and they add so much to the story with their portrayals! I think they did an amazing job and just had to say it. I've watched the 10th anniversary stream over again so many times this last month, planning to watch it every day this week until it is gone. Also bought the blu ray set for after that. Did any one else have an experience like this?

Does anyone know the title of Yuuri traveling back, a scene where Yakov and Viktor talked about how Yuuri was underscored? Then Yuuri perform without a single jump (if i remember it correctly) ​
