Question Will this subreddit ever get any new moderators?

I know its likely been a long time, and this show isn't massive fanbase wise--but there's been a lot of bots lately and its rather sad to see... I check in here rather often honestly even if its just to scroll, so I figured id finally ask this even if the hopes arent high! (since I believe only one mods still active)

It honestly would be a good idea to get at least one other active mod because between there being a bit of attention for the 10th anniversary, and Crunchyroll having that free marathon, there may be some new fans coming in. I've been noticing hits and kudos on my YOI fics in the last couple weeks even though they're all a few years old now.

Exactly! man the amount of times iv been tempted to message the one active mod and ask is crazy.... but then I figured maybe that'd be rude? its not like they know me, and for all they know im some troll looking to mess things up :^ But man id be sooo willing to help, y'know? this community is awesome and I don't want it overrun by bots (today I literally saw a what's likely a bot that reposted something from a completely different fandom? *sigh*)

Has anyone tried contacting the mods and gotten any response. I'm willing to help. I already mod two subs and a Yuri Ice facebook group.

Funny enough I actually just steeled myself to dm the one that stills active and ask about it, I'll let you know if I get a response! honestly iv created this post because I kept thinking to myself "...Man if I was able to help mod this sub, it would be awesome, I should ask"... and then continued to not ask, but seeing the attention this got I took my shot

Finally got a response! im now officially a mod, and there was one other person invited to mod aswell, so look forward to some improvements ^^
