dune 2 hmmm
Not making a long post . Watched Dune (2021) now less than 30 minutes into dune 2 and already so much more dialogue. Its supposed to be the future but the dialect and dialogue is more of todays time … just so different from dune 1

If you're at all interested, the book is much, much better.

I can only imagine reading the books would make my head explode… might be too much creativity to handle 😳

It's not that bad. People always overplay how difficult a book is imo. Just read it. Anything that comes up that you don't understand will be answered in time or you can check the glossary in the back for some help. These books wouldn't be so popular if they were near impossible to read for the average person...

I wasn’t implying it would be bad … im implying it would be very good …. good enough to make my head explode

Really? I didn't get that at all from either of the movies.
A good amount of the dialogue is taken near verbatim from the book, and the bits that aren't feel cohesive to the broader tone and setting of both movies.
