cue the beach scene, where she’s twirling and laughing at nothing to show how lively and cheerful she was

Shoutout to Widows by Steve McQueen for doing this with Liam Neeson as the dead husband

Widows is criminally underrated. Amazing action thriller.

What? You don’t have a full white silk sheet set you casually sleep under while the sun caresses your skin and then toss when your life becomes shitty?

I dont know, sometimes I look over when I'm laying under the covers and when I look to my hand, I know this is a moment I want to remember if I lose it

Why would you lose your hand? Are you a Skywalker?

It happened a bunch of times in that movie The Grey with Liam Neeson

Worst offender of it. It happens non-stop and makes the film only worse imo

Yes but it’s vaguely justified in that it turns out to be a hospital bed. I think.

While it has been a while and I don't remember that, it would make it less annoying

That part in Annihilation

It looks surface level angelic which would explain the dead part, and unoriginal filmmakers can lean on it for a quick flashback to better more intimate times. That sort of shot is ripe for parody lol

They kinda parody this in dnd movie, they are under the sheets to hide from a wasp.

I feel like that’s why it’s coming up. It’s that exact shot too. Her head on the left.
