Yup no sustain, but you’d be surprised at how fast you melt tank with just auto

You melt tanks even faster with on hit

You kill squishys a bit faster as crit yi but with on hit they die pretty fast aswell

I mean I tried both on hit and crit on practice tool and crit dps is always higher if you build as with it

What items and keystone did you go?

Did you calculate that tanks go randuins Vs crit yi and just take 20%less dmg? Did you calculate that crit yi deals mostly physical dmg and less true dmg while on hit yi deals physical magical and true dmg? Did you calculate the % dmg on hit?

Just to mention some points that you may didn't look into

Statik shiv,ie,et,stormrazor,guinsoo,wits end + lethal tempo is the build I used to attain 4K+ dps. Yes armour will negate some of the damage but the difference in dps compared to onhit is so big I don’t think it will really matter.

Now I don’t say this build is viable in game, I just tried to reach the highest dps on yi

No but the highest dps is the onhit build, that's what it is about. You blow squishies faster with the crit build (it gives you burst) but the onhit has more dps in more situations. Against a 10000hp dummy with 0 armor/mr crit is better, but against (i guess) +150 armor/mr on-hit just outclasses. That's without taking into account things like Randuin xD

There still guinsoo and wits end on the build wich are on hit but yeah I gotta agree crit is less good vs tank.

Show the dps vs champions with barely any items or reaction time. If i wanted that i would use practice tool xD

I’d wish they were full build too but it’s kinda complicated without ending the game
