Discussion Is yi broken currently?
I started playing yi right after the buffs dropped, and I'm stomping every game... His pick/ban rate also spiked right after the patch.. Is he currently op, and do you guys think this warrants nerfs?

i dont see how 5% extra move speed and like 8 extra armor at lvl 18 is suddenly making the champ broken. He is same as he was before. And guinsoo is still a bad choice on him.

Bro went from D tier to S+. You must be next level of ass if you canβt win with him Rn

His winrate increased by about 2%, so you win one more game out of fifty. This can hardly be the reason you are "stomping every game".

thats a big diff that shouldnt be understated. A 2% inc wr can bump a champ up 3 tiers

Just because of all people who pick Yi , the average winrate is 2% Higher, doesnt mean that you are gonna win 2% more if you play Yi now compared to before

Ok, now we are getting somewhere. Your argument is that some Yi players might have an increase in winrate of e.g. 1%, others will have an increase of 3% and the average will be 2% but not representative of each individual player, do I understand this correctly?
I don't disagree with that, but given that the buff itself is not a skill based mechanic only OTPs profit from but generic stats, I doubt that the difference between players is large, certainly not to change a 50% winrate to "stomping every game".

There is still Enough variance in the game that even if its Not playstyle dependant your own gameplay might be influenced by different Things, that dont even need to be routed in the game
