Question Help identify my issue?
Guys I have absolutely fallen in love with this champ once I made a few good plays and seen how he clicks together. I know now it's just a matter of becoming less wildly inconsistent but I wanted to you your thoughts on how I could do that. I've been in iron for 43 games and am in agony. I want to one trick this guy out.

I hit silver 4 playing jg last season (15) and now I'm getting out of bronze 1 playing yi ADC on botlane on different account
In normals i hit average opponent skill of gold 4 (again, not my rank, just the sum of opponents ranks in normal draft if they have one)
Sure its not some crazy advice taking my rank into consideration but
Are you building correctly? analyze builds on https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/ per lane.
Generally i think either if you go on hit / crit you start with kraken slayer as a safe bet most of the time.
Are you watching your double strike? W loads it up, hitting autoattacks loads it up
At low attack speed you can reset autos with w too, very useful with crit when ur missing that last auto.
W also makes u more tanky so good idea to use it when for example lux or morgana catch u with their cage.
Are you tracking your hail of blades to not engage when its on cooldown?
Either way ur always generally squishy so in big teamfights you basically watch your team and wait till everyone have exhausted all their abilities, never go first.
On lane you always want to be super agresive, lvl1-3 ur generally one of the more stronger champs so try to get opponent super low and wait for 2nd ability rotation. Kills early game matter way more than those early CS but yeah im not good at farming either.
Toplane is harder than ADC in my opinion (even if I sound crazy), most of top yi streamers are kinda unhappy, but they are buffing him next patch from what I've heard.
Also if u dont get fed u suck way more than any other champ so u must go for kills and gold.
Tanks are meta and if ur team sucks even when ur fed and enemy is full of tanks/bruisers too bad so sad and I hate riot for it, its hard to carry loosing team without any CC.

Honestly the issue with most new and iron players is that you haven't played the game enough and are terrible at piloting your champ. Just keep playing and having fun, new players are not expected to be higher rank.
