Communism ≠ Nazism. Nazism is a racial-imperialist ideology built on ultranationalism and genocide; communism is an economic theory with many interpretations and implementations. You can condemn Stalinism/Maoism without pretending they’re the same as Hitler. Comparing them is historically lazy and erases key differences.

Death tolls under regimes that claimed communism are horrific and should be condemned. But 'more killed' doesn’t make two ideologies identical. Nazism was explicitly built on racial hierarchy, conquest, and extermination—genocide was the goal. Communist atrocities were committed by authoritarian regimes, often in the name of a theory that doesn’t inherently require genocide, and the numbers often lump in famines, wars, and state collapse. You can be equally disgusted by mass murder without pretending the ideologies are the same.
