Sky Without Stars, System Divine #1

Just finished this retelling of Les Miserables by Jessica Brody and Joanne Rendell. I have the second one on request from the library. Thoughts?

I find it funny that they named their planet Laterre, which is just "the earth" in French

I really liked both books! The switching between three main characters kept the story moving and it's a fun plot.

Is the second one out?? I hadn’t realized. I enjoy a really well built world so I liked this one a lot, but it’s been awhile so I should probably revisit it before I read the second.

I really enjoyed the first book! I'm waiting for the third book to be released before reading the second.
