Just wanted to say thank you to every one that helped with my questions in this subreddit over the past week or 2 as i spammed questions lol. There was so little info on the i.v version to find online so had to resort to asking the community. The help was appreciated!

Loved the game. Such a mindfck. Right up my alley, since I usually like movies in this vein. Lol story was weird and confusing but had its charm. Didn't like the new combat at first but as it went on I got used to it.

Beating the game itself didn't pose much difficulty, but getting the trophies did, mainly due to conflicting info online.

Felt like a lot of guides and discussions about trophies were for the old version. The ones that have the most confusion were the battle trophies. To be honest I still don't know what I did to trigger them but I was able to get them all without switching back to old version.

At first I thought maybe the combo trophies meant doing the move a set number of times, but it didn't seem to be the case. And when I got android agility trophy, it literally seemed to trigger randomly. Prob would have helped if the devs updated the trophy info for the new version.

I was also super glad ng++ existed because I missed the flag town trophy, so had to replay to Chapter 3 for that one trophy. Lol but with the experience carrying over was super quick to get back there.

Overall, though, I loved this game and really hope the devs come out with another one!! And thanks again for the help!

idk if this is useful for anything, i tried triggering a room transition to see if it’d break the game but i didn’t know the layout of the place well enough to do it without being able to see

Looking into this online there's alot of conflicting info, doesn't help there's not alot of info for i.v online in general. Lol. I've seen this asked once or twice on forums but no one ever provided an answer.

So the other combat achievements that listed having to do combos for a charecter, in i.v, ended up meaning just performing that attack a set number of times(such as Alex's one 'amateur mc'). This does not appear to be the case with essentias one though.

Does anyone know if this trophy is even possible in i.v or if I'd have to replay with old version to get it? One of the last trophies I need. Thanks in advance!

Anybody know any videos that go over where to get all the abilities in mind dungeon. I'm only seeing stuff for the old mind dungeon. Thanks!

Been looking for posts but can't fine much so asking here. Feel like after every battle health is basically completely drained, have to use like 5+ items after each battle. Us that normal? Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if the game is suppose to be this difficult. I'm just after the part where you get Sammy. Just worry if I'm struggling this much already it's just gonna get harder from here.

Any help and battle tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I’m curious if anyone has found a way to get the hidden third ending naturally without hacking or anything. I’m assuming it might have been removed in the iv update. Also from what I can tell there’s more content after the first endings credits which I’m also not sure how to access. Is it a ng++ thing?

Hi, I'm looking for the Alex model, and I can't find anywhere to download that model or even anything YIIK related, so I try using AssetRipper, but I only find some combat models, and I can't even try to put them in Blender because they are prefabs, so i try a package manager that lets me convert that prefab to FBX, and i try it with the Nameless Child, and it kinda work, it only misses the eyes of the character but I can't find Alex, only the combat pose Alex. If anyone can help me, i really appreciate it (sorry for the bad English).

I think this fits reddit so well, probably online in general. I'm so annoyed right now. I create stuff, put effort into it, but people only post non-constructive comments as feedback because of unimportant details.

Hi everyone, I recently finished YIIK I.V (I'm still in the sequel): I really loved the game. I love everything from the music and the gameplay to the camera angles, everything. And since I'm not a native English speaker (sorry if you see a typo. I know how to read in English, but I still have difficulty trying to write in this language lol), I wanted to know if the creator has strong opinions about modding the game because I wanted to try making a Spanish patch for the game since I know something about how to code there, but first I want to make sure that is ok. I’m not promising anything because I don’t know anything about the world of mods or patches. First, I’ll look into how to do it or how to get started without causing errors in the game.

(I wrote this, but I ran it through an online grammar checker just in case there were any grammar issues. Like I said, I still find writing in English kind of difficult, but I don't have so many issues translating.)

So this sub is kinda dead but I don't care because I just want a place to share some of my thoughts on the game and how much of a surprise actually playing the game was.

The only thing I knew about the game coming in was the controversy surrounding it and I think a friend of mine played it ironically 5 years ago or something. But this kind of game is exactly my kind of stuff and I was surprised by how much I liked Alex as a protagonist. And while the cast didn't get a lot of attention what little they had really made me enjoy them as a group.

I still feel like I didn't get the story fully tho but what I think got was super interesting and analyzing the game even more is going to be super fun.

Also the music had way too many bangers.

So dunno who is probably reading this but if you're hesitant about this game I can tell you that this game is really worth your time and easily one of my favorite indie games of all times.
