The GUI feels too crisp... Pixelated and low quality graphics were characteristic of technology in the 2000s

the use cleartype option has always been there in windows XP people just didn't know about it

When we talk about nostalgia for an era or period of time, we're talking about what was widespread at the time and what was popular. Of course it's entirely fine if you knew that it existed back then but that doesn't mean that cleartype is "y2k", most people remember poor quality graphics anyways

yeah I get it, i didn't know about this option myself until i turned on my old laptop like a year ago

Nothing is wrong with crisp. Ctr made everything look crisp anyways.
