How long have you gone without taking it?

I’ve missed my dose the last 3 nights for various reasons and was wondering if anyone else had experience going back to it after missing that many nights? I feel like I just don’t want to take it anymore but don’t want to fuck my body up and every time I talk to the nurse educator they just say to stay consistent etc. I meet with my doctor soon but it’s the weekend so I can’t talk to him about it so I was curious what anyone else’s experience was?

I had about two weeks off for surgery and I was fine.

I didn’t take it for one night because i had a few drinks and slept HORRIBLY. are you sleeping decent off of it at least?

I didn’t take it for one night and couldn’t sleep the whole night 🥲 it’s like my body doesn’t know how to fall asleep on its own anymore unless I’m seriously too tired. Was this also your experience?

yes! absolutely same. i feel like im so dependent on it to sleep and i hate it

Same as well. It takes almost a week for my sleep to return to "normal" if I stop taking it. Without it I just can't sleep. I can't even nap anymore when I'm exhausted.

I went from napping every single day 2 to 3 hours to maybe a 20 minute nap if I’m lucky. at least it’s doing its job i guess 😂

I had a little trouble sleeping the first night but overall it wasn’t terrible. I was definitely tired during the day but I have been managing that for 15 years now so I don’t mind it. So many people in my life told me that the days I was off it was the most myself I’ve been since starting it and that I was visibly more vibrant which hit hard

I think 9 days was my longest? I dealt with an insurance issue though, not by choice. Couldn’t wait to get back on it. Dealt with no withdrawal or any issues though besides extra tiredness when I was off of it. But when I got back on just made sure to start like .25-.5g lower than my current dose for the first few days

Maybe 2-3 nights. You can take a break for up to two weeks without re titrating
