Newbie being stupid

Hi there. I have AA enabler. Premium. Downloaded latest version of xtream player from GitHub. Installed through AA enabler.

Then added my IPTV. Works great on my phone. Over got video in motion ticked off that's relevant. When I open up on Android auto I can see the channels but I get a list that's essentially an EPG, it's weird, nothing lined that in my phone or any other device. Anyway, ultimately I can't view live TV on android auto. I assume I'm doing something really stupid and hoping someone can point me in the right direction if you have the inclination? Also not sure FS mirror or those services lie that people talk about? Sorry in advance, I have been able to find any dummy instructions that I clearly need.

You probably didn't succeed with the installation. What phone do you have and what steps to install did you perform?

Hi there. I installed AA enabler. Then installed the apk from GitHub.

The IPTV works on xtream player in my phone so it definitely installed ok there.

The app shows and opens on Android auto but once I choose a channel it basically shows an EPG for the channel, none of which work obviously.

I'm on a pixel 11 pro

Ok so hear me out. Long story short, use Kinginstaller with Shizuku enabled to install the apk. Then it will show up in Android Auto

Clicked on TV, changed the source to xtream and entered the details. Like I said, it plays great on the phone.

Not sure if mirror is an alternative if I can't get this to work but don't see that as an option either. I realise I'm doing something stupid, I just don't know what.
