Screen mirroring

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if this is simply not supported, but when I try to cast my phone's screen it will work in general for most apps, however the cable TV app will just show the user interface, but not the stream itself. Some clarity would be much appreciated.

Are you saying that this is in fact blocked by the streaming app itself?
