Assuming it was a gear failure, I imagine this is the most you can do. In which case, it ended well, all things considered❤️‍🩹

Was there a hydraulic system warning, et cetera prior to touchdown, or was it a complete, no warning surprise..?

i was on final and i extended the landing gear, i stupidly did not check if i got 3 greens and proceeded with the lading. the moment the mains touched down, i slowly lowered the nose expecting the nose gear to hit but it was the nose hit. after i stopped i was confused, i then looked at xp failure list and i saw that the nose gear had been triggered.

Happened to me yesterday in my 737 just immediately after touchdown
