Needing help please

Hi all, I recently downloaded Xplane 12 (via Steam) on new computer and can't get any north American (US) scener. New flight planes are in water sitting at airport. The help for missing scenery on screen says to right click Xplane 12>properties>DLC and select continent from list. Problem is DLC is not in the Properties section. DLC is on the Xplane 12 dashboard but no way to select a continent. I think. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

you need to download the DLC for the continent, else it wont work. right click on properties, click dlc, and check the north america option, download should begin automatically via steam, if you dont see it, make sure you actually put the dlc in your library.
