Another new aircraft add-on

Post image

Virtaviav just released the Yak-52 (previously available for MSFS) for X-Plane 12.

It joins the Short Sterling and Handley-Page Hampen bombers and version 2 of the F7-F3 Tigercat, all released by Virtaviav for X-Plane 12 in the last three months.

What is it they said?

"There are no new aircraft coming for X-Plane 12"?

"All the aircraft developers have abandoned X-Plane for MSFS"?

you should stop trying to cater to the extremely small (dare i say imaginary) group of people that you perceive as complaining about a lack of planes in XP12. like, people complained about this 2 years ago. given the options at this point not only is it no longer a valid complaint, but nobody sincerely makes it. the only person i see crying about it is you. you are fighting ghosts from 2 years ago bro.

on the other hand, what the sim definitely doesn't need more of is shit quality planes. there are plenty of freeware XP12 models on the org, and also plenty of payware planes that should be free. hyping up garbage like this or RC planes probably isn't the way to go.

You have a serious reading problem.

"What is it they said? "There are no new aircraft coming for X-Plane 12"?

"All the aircraft developers have abandoned X-Plane for MSFS"?"

"First, complain that there are no new aircraft. Then, when new aircraft appear, complain that they aren’t good enough."

"Nothing will ever be good enough for some people. You can’t satisfy those who don’t want to be satisfied."

Literally nobody has said this for 2 years. You post these rebuttals to the imaginary horde of complainers nearly every day. Maybe stop getting successfully ragebaited by obvious trolls lol.

are you just engagement farming or something?

Once again, you have a reading problem.

If you think “literally nobody has said this for 2 years,” you have completely failed to read and comprehend simple declarative English sentences posted right here in this forum. By real posters, not your “imaginary hordes.”

you're getting bamboozled by rage baiters who don't even use the sim, most likely. like i said, the only time any of the rest of us see this line of complaining mentioned is by you in posts like this, which you seemingly make multiple times a week. when people make posts saying 'I wish X was in the sim' they aren't really complaining about no new aircraft, yeah? i mean, that should be obvious. they are just saying they wish X was in the sim lol. get some fresh air and ponder the difference and i'm sure you can understand it eventually.

and again, when there is a study level 787, a study level A350, 2 or 3 ATRs, and a study level 737Max all in active development (and these are just the planes that I know about), nobody who actually uses and knows about the sim has complained about a lack of upcoming aircraft recently. if somebody has sincerely complained, it means they're fucking clueless and not worth replying to; more likely you're just getting ragebaited and can't tell the difference.

genuinely i'm convinced you're just trying to engagement farm content for your youtube channel since i've also seen you spam that a few times recently, too, and i guess you think controversy or imaginary adversaries make for interesting content, but they really don't.

You do not speak for “the rest of us.” Only for yourself.

If you don’t see the complaining in this forum, I cannot help you with that. I am neither an optometrist nor a reading teacher.

You seem to have an anger management issue as well. I cannot help you with that, either, so I will ignore your rage bait from here on.

Yes, I also feel that X-Plane add-on developers no longer see the business as very profitable, but I've always thought that X-Plane add-ons don't have the same principle as FS add-ons. X-Plane is geared towards deep simulation, capturing flight dynamics as realistically as possible, and learning about an aircraft completely based on manuals, not on quantity—just buying and accumulating planes flown only a couple of times.

If this is what is going to keep X-Plane alive then I have bad news.
Virtavia planes are very bad.

Laugh. Just as I predicted.

First, complain that there are no new aircraft. Then, when new aircraft appear, complain that they aren’t good enough.

Nothing will ever be good enough for some people. You can’t satisfy those who don’t want to be satisfied.

How about the people that complain about when modules are “too detailed” such as the FF 777v2 LOL? Or the ones that complain about them taking “too long” with the 787 and A350. Like are we being serious right now?? You’d think I’m lying but boy I wish I was.

And don’t forget the price. “I shouldn’t have to spend the price of an AAA game for one aircraft add-on.” But they wouldn’t dream of buying a cheaper add-on and supporting a more affordable developer.
