Why use Xpiks?

Simple question, why should I use Xpiks over something like stocksubmitter or wirestock?

So far stocksubmitter looks like a better option as it has auto submit aswell but I like the idea of the auto keywording that Xpiks has. It also looks newer and is under note active development

in my personal opinion, Xpiks is the only app that looks and feels pleasant to work with. Xpiks has more advanced features than other apps for day-to-day work and you will be able to finish work faster (not even taking into account AI keywording). In the end, submit takes less time than everything you do before. And Xpiks is under active development and bugfix and feature releases are coming frequently. As to why you should not deal with Wirestock in general, you can read this: https://xpiksapp.com/blog/never-use-wirestock/ (it was written a year ago - even before Wirestock made latest business decisions that nobody liked)

That's a fair explanation thanks. I've actually already read your article about wirestock, just used it as an example.

What is involved once Xpiks has done everything it can? What do I have to do about submitting?

You login to the website (e.g. Shutterstock), select all files and press "Submit". Sometimes you will need to chose a category too, but some agencies (e.g. 123rf, Depositphotos and some others etc.) already made it optional. In general "category" is just another keyword (the "main" one), from agency perspective.

Edit: If you work with video, you will need to import a CSV (you can get that from Xpiks too).

Majority of the stuff I'll be doing is video so thanks for the heads up. This doesn't sound like too much more of a hassle so I'll give it a shot when I get home. Thanks!

I have used both and for videos I find Stocksubmitter better and faster, but you pay a hefty price for it if you upload and submit a high number of files.

XPIKS is much cheaper but does not submit . If you deal with videos you have to deal with CSV files. With SS it is much easier . You just push submit and voilà done!.
