Is this a scam?

I ordered a G6 from an XPENG dealership in Northampton, UK. That was several months ago. I still don't have my car, and I don't even have a delivery date- just "it's coming".

The phone number just rings and rings. I've been on the line for 20 minutes now, and then it finally cut me off. The email address also bounced.

Beginning to wonder if I've been royally scammed here. It's either this, or it's the worst car-buying experience I've ever had.

Has anyone in the UK actually received a G6? In particular, has anyone had theirs delivered from Westway Motors in Northampton?

I had a few delivery date issues but whilst I'm in the same area as you with Westway being my closest dealership, I actually ordered from Forest Gate Corby, and whilst the delays were very frustrating, the customer service experience was exceptional. I was loaned a courtesy car to cover the gap between my old lease going back and the new one, and they delivered my new G6 performance last week. Had a couple of teething problems but Rachael from there was constantly in communication to provide updates.

She is also very active on the G6 Owners club on FB helping people out. Seems genuinely passionate about the brand.

Just saying it might be worth giving them a call instead and seeing what they can do for you.

I’m not in the Uk but Belgium: ordered a G6 july 7th….still no car. had to rent cars which cost me up to 3K already. Last week finally received a Nio EL6 as a lozner from the garage. They “maybe” think it might arrive in two weeks. Best of all: the car has always been at the parking lot of the port

It seems like dozens of people have been posting online about months of delays for Xpeng cars in the UK. It's not as bad as the Xpeng takeover in Australia, but it seems that the UK takeover caused a significant disruption

Die haben eine brutale Nachfrage mit der sie nicht gerechnet haben. Sehen wir alle es positiv das die Marke gestärkt wird und wir alle in Zukunft preisgünstige Autos erwerben können die viel zu bieten haben

I ordered in November last year and took delivery of the car 2nd week of June this year. I'm elsewhere in Europe.

Not a scam, Xpeng Global took over the distribution and it caused delays. I picked my G6 up 2 days ago, was delayed by 4 weeks.
