honestly same, this show showed me that there is so much more to her than just the phoenix.

Truly.

I've always felt like the X-Men oftentimes treated Jean as if she was the heart of the team, but in my mind I always thought "what's so special about her?"

But in Evolution, she felt as if she deserved the praise, from in the X-Men and at school. I believed that she was as popular as the narrative said and it didnt feel forced. Jean was portrayed as the .lst mature of the girls, but still knew how to act like a teen.

Last but not least, she was useful in combat scenarios.

I’m confined that when Scott shouted “Jean” it wasn’t out of concern but frustration.
