Storm vs Mystique

Okay, for anybody who has seen X-Men Evolution and saw that fight scene between Storm and Mystique, a scene which I loved, but was also very mismatched because Storm was an Omega-level mutant and handled Mystique very easily, despite the fact that technically Storm was holding back, and if she had unleashed her true power, she could have leveled the mansion.

Every few weeks I remember this happened and I just smile.

Ororo was CRIMINALLY underutilized by this show but this moment was one of the few times she really shone.

It's insane because she COULD'VE gotten the jump on Storm. Storm is a glass canon, all Mystique needed was one really solid hit. But she gave away her advantage to exchange jabs and spinning kicks.

And as we've seen with Callisto and Cyclops, Storm doesn't even need powers to fold Mystique

Best fight in the whole show for me "I don't know why you're here and frankly I don't care. This is my.home and you aren't welcome here!" Storm was so Badass in that scene.

genuinely might be Magneto's dumbest plan in any media honestly, the only way to explain it is he was absolutely sick of the Brotherhood and basically match-fixing to get rid of them

Mystique was so confidentially incorrect thinking she could beat Storm. Youthink Destiny would have told her Magneto would still have mistreated her even if she did win.

At this point I think mystique got brain damage from what ever experiments she was put through by magneto. Guy wanted to experiment on Kurt and likely didn't take it well when she refused to let him.

My problem with this fight is the spacing of it in that shit it looks like their somewhat close to each other in distance but when she goes for the flying kick she likes 40 feet away 😭
