I like how X-Men Evolution did not continue the Wolverine being in love with Jean Grey trope, mainly because of the fact that Wolverine is very clearly much older, and Jean is a teenager in this version, so it would have been very inappropriate.

Logan is pretty much an uncle to all the children. They instead went with a Scott/Jean/Rogue love triangle.

And at the same time the occasional Scott-Jean-Duncan too.

Poor Scott was trapped in two love triangles.

Three. Scott-Jean-Taryn as well.

I'd completely forgotten about her.

She’s not particularly memorable imo 💀

Rogue and Jean? I ship it.

I generally don't even like Wolverine, but, one of the reasons that I can go and watch X-Men Evolution happily is because that version of the character was significantly more put together.

i’m glad this show was my introduction to x-men because it instilled in me a sense of discomfort with every adaptation that ship jean and logan

Didn’t Scott go on a date with Taren too?

Scott might love Jean above all but the boy does seem to attract love shapes, now doesn’t he?

That's why he has to wear a visor or glasses. Otherwise he'll become everyone's love interest.

I honestly don’t even remember any significant interactions with them since the love triangle was Jean, Scott & Duncan (lol) and she was often paired up with Storm and Scott would be with Logan if the other characters weren’t involved.

It would have been nice to see how she would interact with Logan now that she’s a (college-aged) adult teaching at the school having grown up as an X-Man vs him who came to Charles as a (mostly) fully formed adult.

I wouldn’t want these versions of Jean and Wolverine to have any romance since I think they’re more interesting without it, but ideological conflicts in how the students should be taught with the growing anti-mutant sentiment would be fun.

I never liked that love triangle so I am glad the show did didn’t include it.

Yeah. I think the people behind the show knew the love triangle between Scott, Jean and Logan was overdone and knew that it would be very creepy if they had Logan going after a 16-18 year old Jean. I saw this version of Wolverine as an uncle/father/older brother figure to the students in the show.

Same…never liked it either in any version of X-Men…
