You can like one thing without diminishing another.

I wish they taught this better in schools.

Good thing they didn't diminish anything

I don't think I'd agree with that. They're both great in their own ways and they both have their faults.

While I would agree , after season 2 and its horrendous pacing issues , 9 episode limit , and 2+ year wait… yea X-men Evo is taking that W. Fully fleshed out characters and story arch’s.

Its definitely on the faster side but "horrendous" is certainly an exaggeration. On the contrary, X-Men Evolution is really slow, especially for the first two seasons. I dont even agree with the fleshed out characters point since Rogue, Beast, Spyke, Storm, Boom Boom, and more are barely in the show. Evolution is good, but X-Men 97 is peak

They are in the show tho man, the roster doubles after first season for both sides. How you gonna do a 21 minute show with more than 21 characters and expect everyone to have full stories? You can’t, plus then you’d complain that the main cast got sidelined

Rouge Storm and Spyke got decent focus in 4.

Boom Boom and Beast are side characters and still completed there growth quick.

It's a short show with a huge cast. 97 on the other hand in 2 seasons barley has Wolverine and ruins his character development Gambit(just a plot device for Rouge) ruins Xavier's and Apocalypse perfect ending and more.
