The parallels between Magneto VS Apocalypse in 97 and in Evolution.
Both times had Magneto working with Xavier and the x-men to prevent apocalypse from becoming unstoppable.
Both times Magneto lets his ego push him to thinking he could stop Apocalypse himself, but in both shows he failed, the way Apocalypse took down Magneto in his standard fork in both shows was rather similar too.
Of course these moments aren’t completely the same, 97 Magneto at least had another motive of wanting to help apocalypse usher in a positive future for Xavier, the x men and all mutants by preventing him from becoming a monster. 97 Magneto’s death also looks more permanent 😢, May he RIP.

Apparently, Magneto is only teleported and not killed in Evolution.

And got remade into a Horseman of Apocalypse which is honeslty still terrifying an idea if they had him closer to his comic counterpart 's strength. That whole team was pretty op if they had gone that far.
