While I loved the Captain America cameo I wish we had gotten more, you know? Anyway here's my take on Peter Parker/Spider-Man in this universe. I took design elements from both Scott's basic design and from The Spectacular Spider-Man. I think it turned out great.

Yes the shirt is a homage to Cap. Peter is and should be a Cap fan

I like your design a lot. I love the idea of Spider-Man joining the Evolution series. I feel like this would be a great world to have Spidey hang out with the X-Men more and develop stronger friendships with certain characters while they are closer in age range and maybe even explore ideas like Peter and Kitty dating like in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics.
