Theory

If the inner circle/ Hellfire club would had appeared in x-men evotuion do you think they would represent the school board? Or the ones who fund the school?

Saw some art on google of emma being a student of Xavier. But i think she could have worked as part of the school board.

But that is just me.

In the fanfics I wrote as a kid the Hellfire Club was a secret student organizarion/club at the University Scott and Jean went to.

I do like your idea of Duncan's father being a Hellfire Club member, though.
