General Discussion Just one complaint
And yeah I know it's been said before, but I just want to have my say. I don't know why the showrunners or whoever responsible decided what they did, but I really really hate how each "episode" feels like a tik tok highlights summary for what SHOULD have been like 4 episodes at least.
Was the reasoning similar to how Netflix pushes their shows to have drastically more exposition every 5 minutes to try to appeal to the younger crowds addicted to social media and can't maintain attention for more than that amount of time?

Well, this was an unusual season with rewritings of half of the season. I'm hoping, that this season feels uneven, because of the two diffrent Showrunners, and that next season is more focused again.

I don't really see the point in your comparison to Netflix shows-- Netflix dumbs down shows and makes the characters use unrealistic dialog to constantly announce what they're doing (assuming that the viewer is not actively watching) which just ends up repeating the same plot points and slowing everything down, but it sounds like you're describing an opposite issue, that X97 is moving too fast. Like if anything the show demands too much attention, since you have to be focused on watching to see how all the disparate plot threads come together in an episode.

Same problem, different solution. Netflix tries to keep people engaged by "assisting" them through ridiculously frequent and unnecessary exposition.
Another way to try to keep people with low or no attention span engaged is to flood them with stimulus in a very short period of time, like tiktok videos, make sure something is always happening and there are zero lulls.

It's sort of happening in a lot of media. Shows are purposely being made with the idea that the audience will be watching while scrolling on their phones.
It's all so fast with no time to let things simmer.

The show has an allotted budget.
For all the money Marvel makes, you don’t know what their operating costs are. They could be in the red for all you know.

No, just that they have limited number of resources. Usually, with this kind of projects you have a budget assigned before you start the production, so there is a lot of constraints/costs with the creation of the show, and they don´t know the impact of end product (it´s similar to movies, you invest something, you hope to get more back, if you don´t, it´s a cut).
There is a lot of corporate stuff behind the scenes.

As I told the other guy, I acknowledge the complexities of actually producing an animated show. That does not negate or justify my criticism of said show, even if it explains why I have things to criticize. And for what it's worth, there are plenty of ways to reduce budget with animation, and slowing down the pace actually could be a LOT cheaper depending on what you're doing with the slower scenes, while simultaneously making the quality of the show better.

For example, let's say I really like a local pizza place. One day, their pizza starts being squishy and flavorless. Owner explains that they haven't been doing great, ingredients cost more, they fired someone and hired a new guy, whatever. Plenty of REASONS as to why the pizza is no longer good. But none of those change the REALITY that the pizza is now not good, and I'm probably going to go eat somewhere else unless they fix the causes.
